I purchased this a long time ago and I see it has no reviews! Kate is a wonderfully talented artist, the stories are both creepy and intriguing- and very symbolic, and I strongly recommend buying this. It is so much more than a graphic novel, a piece of art. It is made up of several short stories with a feminine theme.

This is an American product so was unsure about how strong it would really be- or how fresh as such- have been using Holland and barrett hair skin and nails for about 5 months. I was wanting a higher dosage, was having the equivalent of 600mcg a day so now this is 1000 mcg. The first two days I had slight headaches which I would say was related, as my body adjusted, but that has ceased. I would say these are working and can see results (I have bleached hair so is obvious whether it is working or not!) I am also eating foods which are rich in Biotin which is advisable to help absorbtion. I think the biotin rich foods, plus these do really help the metabolism as well and I feel fuller on less.
I would recommend to slowly up your intake from a lower dose over a few months if possible as I did, as the headaches (which stopped after 2 days) would suggest the body does react to these so going from 0 to 1000 might be a jump.
I think these are a good product and seem to work. For lower dosages I recommend the Holland and Barrett hair skin and nails.

A more succinct review after 5 days with the device. Of course this is reliant on how much you enjoy music but I will assume audiophile in your reading of a Cowon review. Sound: Suberb, full, brings new life to your record collection. Best with in-ear buds. Speakers: not as good but a good volume on it so you can play while cleaning/showering etc. Video: great quality, was able to watch about 40 mins comfortably. Screen: Very clear and pretty. Usability: Takes a few days but the main path you want is : music, navigate within folders with. L and R top, middle to play. bottom middle to bring up folder list again. on now playing, bottom right for options and boundary to set how far it will play (within folder or all) or select shuffle. Usability is reliant here on you clearly labelling the folder directory for yourself and creating named playlists if you are a stickler for order (ie title the tracks 001 track name, 002 track name) for a great playback. A bit of spring cleaning will be worth it. Battery life: seems good, i'd estimate 15 hrs but could be more.

Braffis Spin
Braffis Spin
by Eartha Duquay
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Braffis Spin, 12 Sep 2013
This review is from: Braffis Spin (Paperback)
I ordered the paperback, which is a large-format paperback, a format favoured by the EU in replacement to a hardback for new releases, and one which I prefer visually as it's a much nicer size to read. The book looks very nice and it's an easy read, 385 pages with a sci-fi slant to it, and is an adventure story concerning a new invention (a spacecraft) and it's effect on the current and future societies.
The plot focuses on Spin Stands, a 19 year old daughter of the inventor of this spacecraft, and Mah Risenite, a boy of the same age, Mah is a Knight from the future and he has a team of Peaceful Knights who are rallying against their future governmnent. It is not set on earth, but rather a similar planet called Paland. Mah and Spin become friends (with Mah actually visiting her through a technological device called a Wake-Ring, which enables him to be physically present when he is in fact somewhere else entirely!) and it ends up with Spin visiting Mah's future world with their advanced technology and troubles, which is when the adventure really begins.
The writing style is very pleasant and refined and the adventures are fast paced and interesting. It's definitely a book worth sticking with, peppered with interesting descriptions and witty dialogue.
It reminds me of other sci-fi/fiction classics such as 'Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?' in the author's tone.

A really interesting and varied collection of artistic stickers summarising the various graffiti/trend art movements going on around now. I won't be using the stickers and just keeping them in the book to look at. But would look great on folders and everything as well.

Very nicely made radio, great quality for the price on here. I like the touch buttons on the top. I haven't had a digital radio for a couple of years since the expensive-to-replace cord broke on my sony XDRS55DABB and this sounds/works as well as that does (half the price I paid then)
A good buy, good size, haven't tried the battery life yet. Also a good present for a girl in this shade!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully Illustrated, 19 July 2011

I spotted this book while in a children's bookshop and it really stood out to me, lovely illustrations, great looking book. Finally got a hold of it and I think the plotline is very engaging and hopefully more will be produced.
I don't think the manga/japanese animation influence is particularly strong, the hairstyle could be and the title spider moon (akin to sailor moon) but beyond that it seems quite western.
The plot is original and Bekka having webbed hands reminds me of waterworld, combined with the potential apocalypse that is coming. The way it's drawn and the dialogue is presented is very concise and it feels like you're watching an animated film of the story. Please make more Kate Brown!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Progression, 16 April 2011
This album encapsulates everything Young Knives are capable of, and more, making it definitely their best so far.
Without the raw energy of the first two, but replaced with an effortlessly listenable, brilliantly produced sound that is full of depth and variation.
This is a band who are not afraid of change, but the most genuine wholehearted change that they could have made. A Pop gem.

I bought 2 micro sd cards as well as this, after you gently slot the tiniest card you have ever seen into the tiniest reader you have ever seen ( which seems flimsy so be careful with it) it is pretty amazing to upload loads of stuff to it, and the speed of adding the files to the device is very quick. I recommend this reader. but put it in a safe place, it will last about ten seconds in someone's pocket

when this was put up on the wall, for safety we stuck in every single screw and nut, however this aside it is holding my massive sony bravia up on the wall very well, absolutely no fear of it falling off.
