5.0 out of 5 stars SHOCKER., 6 Jun 2011
i was totally shocked at reading this book. i always thought thompson was the ring leader not so sure now. both boys played their parts. i'm still not sure what venables meant when he said i killed james???? does that mean he did it or they both did it????
why did they both smirk at each other when getting into the cars??? i thought they would feel guilty for doing what they did. they just didnt seem all that bothered to me.
they continue to blame each other for things that happened. thompson put all the blame on venables. venables did own up to some things he did. not sure what that means though. could again be lying. doubt we will ever know the truth as in who did what and mostly WHY they did it. that for me is still a huge question.
i did enjoy this book, its very well written and gives a great insight into how and when this all unfolded.
i hear this book is to be re released in september. i hope it is an updated version as alot has happened with venables since his release. again thats another story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Innocent Man!!!, 26 Nov 2009
i found this book very hard to get into but when i did i couldn't put it down. i am glad i stuck at it as i found out alot about the investigation and how they only ever wanted mr jenkins for the crime!!! mind you with a wife like he had he was only ever gonna be the target.
to me there was not enough time for mr jenkins to have killed billy jo. yes he might have been a bit strange when they found her and he didn't do things in a hurry but the poor guy had just found his foster daughter covered in blood. i think i too would freeze and strugle to know what to do. i really am sure that he is innocent and the real killer is still out there!!!!
he just didn't seem to have the time!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 22 Oct 2009
This review is from: Abducted (Paperback)
i read this book in a day because i just couldn't put it down. i loved how the girls said their own little bits about everything that they had been through. these 2 girls are now strong young ladies. some of the bits in the book are a little graphic but that helped to get the story across. its a great read and again char and lisa are very brave young ladies.
