5.0 out of 5 stars Shooting the Past DVD, 15 Dec 2011
This purchase was for a gift. It arrived promptly in excellent condition. The drama itself is superb. Casting - first class, performances - sublime, atmospheric screenplay and a haunting storyline all go to making this a stonking watch. Lindsay Duncan's evocative 'Just a story' scene is incredible. I would recommend this to all.

4.0 out of 5 stars good british film, 4 Mar 2002
Steve Coogan is a master comedy and Deserves a oscar for his performance in this stunning movie.
Emma Williams has a fantastic future ahead of her and her role in this movie is well played in every sense. her fantastic looks partner her brillant acting to make her a good choice for the role of kirsty. A certain type of comedy that may not suit everyone but if you like "the league of gentelmen" or "shooting stars" it's your cup of tea.
