Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I purchased this DVD from Amazon UK, as it stated viewable in all regions.
As it turned out it was not viewable in Region 1, which is Canada & USA.
After contacting Amazon UK & supplier The Sigma Group, I received very
informative replies from both, that I could return the disc & get a full refund.
ThankYou for the great service.
I have since purchased this DVD from Amazon Canada. It is a great performance
by the Kirov Ballet.
I have a friend who is a local ballet dancer, and her mother was as well in Europe.
They have both seen this DVD and say it is a superb performance.
I highly recommend it if you like Swan Lake.

I first heard the music of the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra on YouTube videos - and came upon it it just by chance - and just had to have it.
This is great fun, lively, and toe tapping music. Makes you want to get those dancing boots on, and
hit the dance floor. An Excellent CD, highly recommended.

2.0 out of 5 stars Beethoven Complete Symphonies, 4 Mar 2011
Beethoven is not one of my most favourite composers, but his Symphonies are a must in anyone's basic music library.
The price was excellent, but there are much better recordings of these pieces.

This review is from: Bookends (Audio CD)
I have loved Simon & Garfunkel since I first heard them. Had the original LPs many years ago.
A wide range of emotion in their music. Some of the lyrics are " pop poetry " and very witty.
When I first listened to these CDs, instantly recalled most of the lyrics word for word.
Both are very talented fellows. Saw a Paul on a Late Night Talk Show interview years ago.
He was very witty, but seemed a rather shy & retiring person.
Two great Musical Artists - some of the best.
Relive the past. You won't be disappointed !

I remember this series from the past when it was aired on PBS in the US.
Great British humour and " slap stick " comedy.
Most enjoyable to view it once again.
Witty dialogue and a great cast of very talented comedians.
Living in " Beautiful British Columbia " with our great forests,
I love the Lumberjack Skit.
Highly recommended !

Upstairs Downstairs: The Complete Series [DVD]
Dvd ~ Pauline Collins

5.0 out of 5 stars Upstairs Downstairs, 19 July 2010
This DVD series I give a 5 star rating.
As most North Americans, I saw it originally on a US TV program called Masterpiece Theatre on PBS. The actors are superb, the script delightful, and it is such a joy to watch.
It is a slice of English social life from the past. All though I am sure it still exists to this day.
It is very amusing witty and entertaining. I recommend it highly. It is a " must have "

PS - Do have to view it on my iMac wide screen computer. My DVD player & TV is not compatible. But that's OK.
