2.0 out of 5 stars Battery eater, unreliable too, 20 Oct 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It seems to want two AA batteries a week! I only use it once in the morning every day!
That's 104 AA batteries a year -that's about 50 for a year. Don't think that's justifiable. It seems to drain the battery even when not in use, as it can't possibly go from good performance one day to no performance the next otherwise. Also, the battery connectors seem to corrode quickly (probably a poor choice of material).
This one is going back.

1.0 out of 5 stars Be warned: Will break. Hard to configure, 15 Oct 2013
I've had this one for about 3 years. It's only been on during the summer, and it still has managed to break. It runs hot, and that's probably why it has gone south. In addition, configuring these devices is nightmarish, if you are used to products from real networking companies, such as Netgear, D-LINK, and so on. For a simple utility to update the firmware you have to run a big installation using Install Shield (yes, that awful PC bloatware that I had thought was confined to history by now) on your PC, installing DRIVERS for your ethernet port. WTHeck?
They don't acknowledge that they messed up the design with a product that breaks so quickly, just pointing to the warranty terms. Not a company that endears exactly. Just go for a proper product from a proper company instead. (Apple sent me the latest iPod Nano after a potential issue with the battery was found on the original Nano -bought about 6 years earlier. Logitech send a new Harmony One because the battery in the original one got stuck inside, years after I bought it.)
BTW: UK (Europe?) SERIOUSLY need better consumers interest's organisations.

2.0 out of 5 stars Only 12.8% carnitine!, 16 Sep 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this as it seemed a good price for 1200mg capsules. HOWEVER, it only contains about 12% carnitine, so it's more like 140mg capsules. Not such a good deal any more.. I'm getting some 500mg pure carntine next. I can make my own green tea (it's only about 4% green tea), and don't need the added fat (40% fat!!) and carbs in this product's capsules. It actually is a bit of a scam when the two main ingredients on the front label only makes up about 17% of the contents.

4.0 out of 5 stars Musically good, HOWEVER...., 20 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The longer the "perfect sound forever" (CD-sound, for any youngsters reading this) goes on, the worse the actual sound on CDs becomes. (And that includes MP3s too, of course, as they are derived form 16/44). This CD is a major victim of the loudness war. I can't turn the volume knob much above 9 o'clock on my amp before it becomes unbearable. And it doesn't sound loud, just headache inducing. The producer, mixing and mastering techies should just be taken out at dawn...

Listening to an old 1984 song by Human League on FM radio on my 1980's boombox sounded WAY better than this CD did on my proper hifi (and it really is a proper hifi system).

So I guess I won't be listening much to this CD, despite any potential musical qualities it may have.

The 4 stars are for Sinead, the CD audio quality gets a a total of zero stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seems fine, 16 Mar 2013

Color balance may be different to original one. But that could have been shifting light conditions between my before and after shots. Very pleased with a new camera for 3.10 pounds! The old one had developed a black spot area which I have lived with for a long time. Timely delivery. Thanks!

1.0 out of 5 stars Returned within two hours!, 18 Jan 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Some parts of this strap might actually be good, but if the spring loaded pin (like those on normal watches that hold the strap) is too thin for the job, too short for the job, and the holes that the pin sit in are massively too big, then it's never going to work. The strap came off its mounts even before I have managed to put it on my arm. If it had cost 4 I would probably have fixed it somehow, but for the pretty large price of 20 for this rubber and plastic stuff, it needs to actually be correctly designed. It's not worth losing your ipod using this product.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The most positive reviews here, which made me try out this product, are ALL MADE BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE ONLY REVIEWED SNUGG PRODUCTS!!! Now, isn't that strange?

1.0 out of 5 stars Geat film, awful DVD transfer, 6 Oct 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Do not purchase this 4:3 awful DVD transfer if you have any expectations at all about quality! All I expected was bog standard DVD quality in 16:9, but what I got was poor DVD quality in 4:3 (that's old TV format). Since I've seen this film on TV and VHS several times, I'm not going to waste my time watching such a poor version. And to think that the DVD case has a Sony hologram sticker on it -one would have thought they would be ashamed to admit releasing this.. A pirated version would probably have been of better quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality and finish, 6 Dec 2008
I have had this bracket for years now, initially used with my 32 inch non-Vesa mount Toshiba LCD. It is now used with a much bigger Sony 46 inch TV, with more narrow VESA style mounting holes, and works just as well. (The 46 inch TV is very wide, so I put some rubber feet on it's back to protect it if twisted when close to the wall, as the bracket's built in stoppers won't engage for a TV this wide.) I'll probably avoid pulling the 46 incher fully out from the wall very often -this bracket extends a long way from the wall. There is no need to with the TV being this big, and I'm not sure the wall fixings are up to it in the long run (I used plastic plugs in the brick wall, with some pretty big screws), but I'm sure the bracket itself can handle it. Tilt just works, and don't need friction adjustment or any type of intervention. Just tilt the screen!

I even mounted the new TV a bit further down, without moving the bracket on the wall, by choosing some other holes in the fixing frame. This worked fine and didn't seem to affect the tilt function at all.

Beware that some fixing screews for the TV may be too long for your particular TV. Make sure to check the TV's manual before fixing the TV!

The TV is attached to the adjustable frame, and this frame is then hooked to the bracket and fixed with a couple of nuts. The TV can actually hang on the bracket while the nuts are being tightened. (I.e the top nut is on, but not fully tightened, and the bottom nut is off, while hanging.) It's very well thought out for the actual installation.

On top of it all the bracket even looks really good if exposed!

1.0 out of 5 stars Rent it instead!, 3 Dec 2008
Ths film has a pretty weak, predictable and linear story with little character depth. What does the bluray quality matter if you only ever watch it once? I recommend renting this one instead.

A great movie with the most natural virtual camera work so far! Great characters. Fabulous animation -the water (waves) is stunning, to say the least. Great music too.
