More than a first reader on Climate Change matters, 13 Dec. 2012
Henson provides an introduction to climatology which takes the minimum of previous knowledge to comprehend. From that backdrop one can appreciate the tumble of facts, figures and outlines of others' experiments which build out the picture of what is happening on the planet. Henson does not bend over backwards to allow for the case of those who dispute the importance of human activity in global warming but that can be picked up elsewhere.
