4.0 out of 5 stars Tombstone, 8 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Indeed a huge read to take on.
After firstly reading Mao The Unknown Story (Chang/Halliday)I wanted to know more.
Tombstone is an amzing insight into a dark & cruel world.
My only critisism (due to my own lack of understanding) is the authors mass of statistical information.
Sad that this book is banned in China.

A thoroughly researched book.
Nic Dunlop has painted painful pictures with his words.
A brave author who sought to find the truth, and with it,Comrade Duch.
Nic has opened my eyes to the countries who, through aid & shelter, assisted in prolonging the genocide.
Also the Aid Agencies who allowed themselves to be used which often prevented the true refugees from recieving food & medical aid.
Thank you Nic for sharing this with the world

1.0 out of 5 stars VOICES FROM S-21, 8 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have abandoned reading this book.
It appears to be a very badly photocopied edition and therefore very difficult to decipher.
From what I have managed to read I am appauled that the writer refers to the photographs, taken of prisoners about to be tortured & killed,
as MUG SHOTS.
It seems apparent that he has merely 'lifted' the theories & research of others to reform into his publication.
I would not recommend this work to anyone who is seeking truthful answers to Pol Pots regime.
