4.0 out of 5 stars Some Great Ideas For Overcoming Confidence Problems, 17 Jan 2014
A lot of the book is obvious if you have ever mentored or coached at work but if you haven't it will open your eyes to some great ideas

I read this in the middle of some real confidence issues that 11 year old players had and the ideas were a revelation to the boys and their parents

Easy to read and full of anecdotes to share with Coaches anonymous !

5.0 out of 5 stars teeth sinking enjoyable read, 2 April 2012
This is my first Shardlake book. It did not matter that I had not read the other 4 in the series. Just a ripping historical tale, made for anyone who enjoys crime/mysteries/historical books. This is all rolled up in one. I liked Matthew Shardlake and his sidekick Barak, I thought they complimented each other well. Give this book a go you will not be disappointed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Total let down, 21 Sep 2011
This review is from: Harbour (Paperback)
After reading 'Let the Right One In' I thought I was in for another treat, how disappointed I was. Slow, slow and even slower. Few good bits, I couldn't wait to get to the end. Even broke my own rules of never skipping paragraphs but I had to in this case because it was BORING!! Leave on the book shop shelf-don't waste your money!

Read this book because I loved 'One Day' and also a friend recommended it. I loved Brian, he tries so hard to fit in you can only admire him for his tenacity. Alice really doesn't deserve him. Read it in a couple of days-laughed out loud several times and smiled nearly all the way through. You don't have to work at this book it just flows and you find yourself wondering what what poor Brian will do or say next. Good read.
