3.0 out of 5 stars Product is fine but packaging was poor, 30 Dec 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I tried this product because of the value per kilo, which is pretty good. I have no problem with the product, but when delivered it arrived in a split black plastic bag with one of the two bags inside the package hanging out and dirty. The actual stuffing was fine inside the bag, but this was more by good luck than good management. Packing poor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smart & does what it says it does!, 27 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Smart looking and robust. Does what it says it does. Happy with the product. I purchased this with a discount due to damaged packaging, which was a bargain. However, there was also a small scratch on the item itself, so if you are considering doing something similar, check exactly what you are getting the reduced price for first.

Missed a couple of the episodes on TV and wanted to own the DVD. I love Iain Stewart's enthusiasm and passion for all things and have really enjoyed watching this DVD. Recommend both it and his others.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely delighted!, 26 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I wanted a digital picture frame to show off 3 years pictures of Iceland and remind me of the very many happy memories. I knew nothing about these frames but was guided by the reviews on Amazon. I bought with some trepidation but found the frame easy to set up, robust, picture quality and viewing excellent and manipulation of the images easy, too. I am so pleased with it I intend buying 2 for my daughters for Christmas!

Watches like a play, which it is based on. Beautiful acting and great cast, but it mentions battle scenes on the front and as far as I can see there aren't any!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I hoped they would be!, 18 Jun 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having looked at a few reviews for this product I was worried about ordering these orthotics. I had made a mistake with some arch supports I ordered previously and did not want to waste more money. However, they do exactly what they say they will. They are supportive, with 3 different inserts for different levels of support. The gel soles are comfortable and, yes, they do stick to your sole, but they don't 'walk' about in your shoe, which is good. Additionally, if you can't fit a full orthotic in sole in your shoe, these will fit, as they only fit into half the shoe. I haven't yet worn them during hot weather, but am very pleased so far, in fact, I bought a second pair!

Kiss the Dead (Anita Blake Vampire Hunter 21)

1.0 out of 5 stars This time it's "cashing in!", 16 Jun 2012
The last 5 or 6 Anita books have been poor, let's face it. However, I keep thinking of the early books, the great and exciting story lines, and there I go again and buy the next one in hope of something worth reading. Well I'm afraid that's it. Ms Hamilton won't be getting any more of my hard-earned money. Soulless, unexciting, more of the same, never write a sentence when 8 pages of boring technical detail will do (particulary the exceptionally un-erotic sex scenes). Whatever happened to the author who wrote that initial fabulous scene of Anita and Jean-Claude finally getting it on in his bath - wow?!! Anita has had her day and I'm afraid that Ms Hamilton has run out of steam.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 3rd in the series of this Icelandic drama, 1 Jun 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I loved the first in the Fire and Ice series by Michael Ridpath, was pleasantly surprised by what felt like a slight change of tack in the second and have been delighted by the third in this series. Magnus has developed as a character and you begin to know him better and sympathise with his relationship issues. A great story line set in the period of Eyjafjallajökull's eruption and the disruption of European airspace, with a great cliff-hanger! Bring on the fourth Michael!!
