5.0 out of 5 stars Easy motherboard upgrade, 24 Feb 2012
This was the easiest motherboard upgrade I have ever done! From delivery to up-and-running was less than 30 minutes. The drivers disk had all the necessary drivers and it was a straight forward job to install them. The fan is quieter than the one being replaced and everything was in the right place. All in all, a very satisfying experience!

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother, it's being broadcast by BBC2 before Xmas, 18 Dec 2010
I haven't actually watched it yet, having bought this as a Christmas present. It has arrived in good time and is probably very good. However, I now find it is being broadcast on BBC2 BEFORE Christmas, which spoils the point of buying it in the first place. Had I known that, I wouldn't have bothered.

So, Eddie, did the lure of cashing in overcome any scruples you had about ripping off your fans?

5.0 out of 5 stars Dawn French, Sex Goddess, 29 Jan 2009
This review is from: Dear Fatty (Hardcover)
I bought this for a relative as a present. I haven't read it and probably won't. Still, she's quite funny in The Vicar of Dibbley. What more can I say?

It's a stripy jumper, for Gawd's sake. What do you want me to write about it? It's got stripes but it doesn't jump.

3.0 out of 5 stars A good reference let down by the index, 1 April 2008
This is an excellent introduction to HTML 4.01. However, the XHTML 1.0 elements are less well covered and XHTML 1.1 is mentioned only in a few paragraphs. Although, to be fair, the differences from XHTML 1.0 are slight and only of interest to a few.

However, my main complaint is that the index is almost of no use for locating actual tags and their usage in the text. Additionally, the ordering of the topics means that this book should be seen more as a series of tutorials than as a reference from which information can be easily extracted.
