The Ambassador (Warhammer novel)
The Ambassador (Warhammer novel)
by Graham McNeill
Edition: Mass Market Paperback

3.0 out of 5 stars dark !, 7 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Whilst this story is well enough written it is predictable .

Most reviews of the old world books talk about darkness , but this book is seriously dark , its not as much a gorefest as the others , but possibly the darkest warhammer novel I have read.

if you like the old world then its a worthwhile read but its not spectacular .

I have no idea why this style of knife never took off , I have used them since they were brought out and have tried other knifes but none match up a great product .

Soothsoft Chillow Pillow Double Pack
Soothsoft Chillow Pillow Double Pack
Price: £44.99

5.0 out of 5 stars At last a nights sleep, 3 July 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This pillow is the best thing ever , I am at last able to fall asleep quickly and although it does warm up through your body heat , changing for a second pillow if you wake up is no hardship .
This was probably the best money i have EVER spent , can you put a price on a good nights sleep ?

4.0 out of 5 stars a brief history, 20 Jun 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A pretty truthfull account of one mans war , refreshingly truthfull , here is a man who admits his ( few ) mistakes and gives a rarely seen view of what actually happend to a ships captain through the war .

Utmost Fish
Utmost Fish
by Hugh Wray McCann
Edition: Mass Market Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars very underrated book, 15 April 2010
I came by a copy of this book years ago and as a reader of naval history found it a very interesting twist on the normal naval storys.
basically in two parts , the struggle to transport two MTB's across land , and the second their use to defeat the established german fources.
Well worth a read !

1.0 out of 5 stars save your energy, 20 Feb 2009
After much waiting and hype the film turned into a real computer generated turkey , Ford is good as usuall but the age old kid and chick sidekick routine is tired and done , the story is as transparent as a pint glass , the effects are far too much and the whole thing leaves you cold and bored. Remember the films you loved as they were not as tired sequel's which have run out of plot.

Save your time , save your money and save your effort, the hype promised much but delivered nothing.
