Dexter - Season 7 [DVD]
Dexter - Season 7 [DVD]
Dvd ~ Michael C. Hall
Price: 10.70

2.0 out of 5 stars Only the end made it worth watching, 26 Dec 2013
This review is from: Dexter - Season 7 [DVD] (DVD)
I found most of this season very tedious: the gangster story line especially was dull and only in the last few episodes was I itching to find out what would happen next. Haven't seen the final season yet - hope it is an improvement!

Lola Rose 'Susan' Sterling Silver Stud Earring
Lola Rose 'Susan' Sterling Silver Stud Earring

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, but not plum quartzite!, 28 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I thought maybe there had been a mix-up with the picture which shows the black cherry colour but in fact it is the product description which is wrong. Will be keeping the earrings anyway as they are lovely but please put this right!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pictures of a great coastline, 31 July 2009
This review is from: The Yorkshire Coast (Hardcover)
I bought this book for my dad for Christmas as he is very fond of the coast around Filey/Scarborough/Whitby etc. There are some great photos, especially of Staithes. Plenty of ideas for those "staycations" we're all supposed to be having these days!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant book, 12 Jun 2009
I had been after a really comprehensive art book and this fits the bill perfectly. Practically every artist from every era and art movement you could think of is in here - even Banksy gets a look in! It's really well designed and would be great for studying or just for browsing through as a coffee table book. Can't recommend it enough!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastically educational, 18 Nov 2008
This review is from: The Art Book (Paperback)
This is a great book if like me you are interested in art but have a short attention span! The entries are very informative but concise and the whole breadth of art movements is covered. My only suggestion would be an updated version with more contemporary artists such as Anthony Gormley and Damien Hirst.

4.0 out of 5 stars An underrated Triumph, 14 Mar 2000
Unreasonably ignored by the public, this Capraesque comedy pulls out all the stops to provide just the right amounts of romance, pathos and humour. A top-notch cast (Tim Robbins, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Paul Newman) have a ball and their enthusiasm is infectious. One of the best Coen brothers movies and a delight from start to finish.

2.0 out of 5 stars Reasons not to remake European Films No 1,000,001, 14 Mar 2000
This review is from: The Vanishing [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This shoddy remake tries and fails to recapture the suspense and tension of the original. All subtlety is lost in an attempt to appeal to a wider market and the ending is, to put it mildly, a complete cop-out. No-one who recognises the value of its predecessor should venture near this travesty.
