5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful,stunning and really enjoyable, 25 Nov 2011
Wow what can I say that will justify just how brilliant this film is usually when i see a film, for the past couple of years when ive seen it once i dont really want 2 see it again unless its very good and needless to say i havent found that for a long time until I seen this.wow its dazzling i didnt want it to end as a previous reviewer said its like the glamorous and highly entertaining old hollywood films that you dont get now it has everything.theres a proper romance,an interesting story characters you really root for and one who you'll really dislike lol. as well as being a beautiful film, beautifully acted its also visually beautiful the circus the animals etc n the way its shot.Go and watch it now ou will love it!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars ALOT!!! better than expected, 8 Mar 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
having recently bought just dance and being dissapointed,i was worried when i realised after buying this that it has the same makers as just dance. But there was no need 2 worry atall its so fun yeh the moves r hard to pick up at 1st and with the 4 dancers on the screen it can b confusing but im sure after a few tries i'll b able to do it lol,the thing that makes it alot better than just dance is that it really picks up your movements so much better and thats what made just dance so frustrating for me even though i like it.defo reccomend this its so cool bein able 2 dance 2 ur fave musicals if u like musicals and/or dancing you will be able to overlook the minor flaws such as lack of practise time or time u get to pick up the moves, but with practise you will have it in no time.ok the graphics arent the most wowing but who cares they aint suppose 2 b its a game u can have a laff wiv and i dont think their that bad atall apart from the little diagram that shows u the next move. song choices are good but for the price there probz should be more, overall its a great game and really is alot better than i thought it would be after reading bad reviews. hope they bring out a 2nd 1 with more songs from different musicals like grease n maybe some more from hairspray and chicago.

5.0 out of 5 stars memorable!!, 5 Mar 2011
This review is from: The Nun's Story [DVD] [1959] (DVD)
I finally watched this last night and being a massive fan of audrey hepburn i think this is defo one of her best performances she is brilliant.this film is a must see and i didnt know what to expect but i found it so interesting and really did keep me interested till the end.Being a catholic myself I didnt realise just how tough it was to be a nun back then its a really good insight and i found myself wanting sister luke to leave towards the end and was glad when she did,she remained so strong even when it was so hard to be, like when she had to fail her exam or she didnt get 2 work in the hospital she wanted.stayed in my mind long after watching and was very powerful, and the way it was shot and the locations were great

This review is from: Kaspar: Prince of Cats (Paperback)
I was in an impulsive mood when i bought this, seen it had a cute black cat on the cover like mine snapped it up,read the blurb on the back it mentioned the titanic, thought it sounded interesting so i got it.Now bearing in mind im 21 an this is a kids book i really enjoyed it lol not that it bothers me its a kids book as i read anything that appeals an many diff books. Its a nice happy story apart from some bits obviously cuz the titanics in it but i thought the author was very good the way he covered it, its more based around the cat than actually about it but i enjoyed the story and im sure any child would love this,i defo would have when i was a kid

Audrey: Her Real Story
Audrey: Her Real Story
by Alexander Walker
Edition: Paperback
Price: 7.90

5.0 out of 5 stars Well written, 3 Mar 2011
This review is from: Audrey: Her Real Story (Paperback)
This is the 1st book I read about audrey,it gives a very good insight into her life and those around her an it is quite interesting as it mentions things i didnt know, about other hollywood stars of the that era, for instance Humphrey bogart was jealous of audrey and wasnt very nice to her but when you watch sabrina you wouldnt think that.I like the way it was written because he states in certain parts that even though hes writing about it, it might not be a fact its just a rumour like when in the war audrey was suppose to have hid in a cellar starving for a number of days (cant remember how long). The writer also has pages in the back that back up his sources. The way the book was written an worded i did feel very intellectual reading it lol an due to this i found it hard to get into at 1st but then i was flying and couldnt wait to get back to it.Basically this book gets to the point it gives the facts an speculations of audreys life but although the 1st few pages is about her parents and it does cover quite well her marriages and personal life but alot of it is about each film she did and the people she worked with it does flow very nicely though, all in order, starting from when she was a child.I really enjoyed this book an learned alot about audrey but I would of liked alot more about her personal life, her thoughts and feelings, things she enjoyed doing, her opinions on things and little things i know its stupid but like what her favorite food was an stuff, but thats just me.Even though theres not alot known of him her dad seemed to have lead a very mysterious interesting life mostly down to his controversial past, and for much of it audrey wasnt in contact with him,it would be interesting to have read more about him and audreys mother.

I gave this book 5 stars because it was a good and very interesting read, and most importantly its about audrey and any book about her is worth 5 stars :)

5.0 out of 5 stars wow!!, 17 Feb 2011
This review is from: Honest Illusions (Paperback)
wow it really is wow lol ive just finished reading this unfortunately :( lol
i got it for christmas n i dont know what im gona read next because its gona be a very tough act to follow lol.what can i say nora roberts is amazing thanks to my granny whos just got me into her books recently if it wasnt for her i probz wouldnt even of heard of her.the story is very strong and intrigueing the charector luke is very endearing, you care about him from the start the nouvelle family is great too and you will really want luke and roxanne to be together can be annoying in that way,its very passionate and the magic side of the story is great lukes relationship with max is lovely and the only character you will hate is sam u will love the rest.luke is taken in by the nouvelles aged 12 i think and thats when it all begins, the nouvelles are master magicians by day but master jewellery theives by night or their spare time. great story cuz you know the whole of it from when the main characters are young and when they are grown up and how their very interesting lives unfold over the years its brilliantly written and the love and freindships between the characters are really heart warming. defo get this book its exciting, really passionate, nail biting, really sad in parts, infuriating and annoying in other parts ( mainly thanks to the evil sam) but if yor anything like me u wont be able 2 put this down!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!!!, 17 Feb 2011
This review is from: The King's Mistress (Paperback)
I dont know what i could write that would do how brilliant this book is justice. It is now my fave book ever i read it last year and i read alot of different types of books but this is by far the cats whiskers!!! I love the way its like a journey and you get the story of her whole life right to the end i love stories like that, cause then its like you get the whole story kind of thing.I loved alice I felt as the reader i was going through everything with her and the book made me look her up on the internet and want to know more about her,i didnt think i would empathise this much with a mistress but i did.everything about this book is so appealing espescially the detail for example the clothes and fashion details are excellent,in so many books i read i find my self wanting to know more details and its quite rare for a writer to go into so many so i adore this.alice goes through so much and theres always so much going on,so many different layers to the story you are left wondering abit but it all ties in and comes together.please get this book espescially if you love history novels its great!!! cant believe how little reviews it has gona get it 4 every1 i know

Cleo: How a Small Black Cat Helped Heal a Family
Cleo: How a Small Black Cat Helped Heal a Family
by Helen Brown
Edition: Hardcover
Price: 11.07

5.0 out of 5 stars beautiful!, 17 Feb 2011
even though im a very proud cat owner myself and though I already knew it,it reminded me just how special they are.I didnt really know what to expect but i was so glad i got it the only reason i bought it cuz the cat on the front is the spit of one of mine and i thought it would be a cute little story but its so much more.Basically its about how a women and family rebuild their lives and how cleo played a big part in it,its very beautifully written as well as being about cleo its also like a memroir, (sorry if i spelt that wrong) and you care about the people in it.Its nice the way you get the pictures of the family, at the front too so you can see who your reading about, it hits home how real it is. I was laughing my head off at cleos antics and could really relate i found it very sad and moving though too,and without giving it away the end really was the end lovely but sad and thats all i'll say.Helen brown is brilliant and I would recommend cleo to anyone
