Ronhill Men's Pursuit Bike Short
Ronhill Men's Pursuit Bike Short
Price: £18.94 - £19.80

3.0 out of 5 stars Too high, 17 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Returned these shorts as they came up over my belly button and felt restrictive over my belly. I have given an average rating as this felt very strange too me, but maybe thats what the pursuit element entails.
The shorts themselves were well made and fit well (medium was a medium) and padding was good.
It was a shame to return them as they were a good short for a good price, just not right for me (unless they are not supposed to come over the belly button in which case they were a terrible short!)

2.0 out of 5 stars Impossible to sharpen after a while, 30 Mar. 2013
I've had this knife for about a year and initially really liked it but now it is impossible to sharpen. Even if I spend ages sharpening it and manage to get a reasonable level of sharpness, it doesn't last.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good introduction to Japanese and Korean cooking, 28 Nov. 2011
The book has long sections about history of the two cuisines and also about the techniques, utensils and ingredients. There are plenty of recipes with great photos. There isn't much about sushi with only a couple of recipes for it so if that is your main interest, you will need a different book. This book shows a lot of interesting ways to cook fish and sea food and also has plenty of vegetarian dishes.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good book with some major faults, 5 Oct. 2010
This book explains the ingredients and processes of bread making really well for both commercial and home bakers...but only those who own a bread mixer as there isn't a single word about hand kneading.
The recipes are given with metric and imperial measurements for 30 loaves and then only in imperial for home production...and that is 2 or 3 loaves. This is completely useless for someone who wants to use metric measurements and make 1 loaf which would only seem like a logical way to present a recipe. Of course you can calculate your own quantities but this just seems like a major fault to me.
A warning to the occasional home baker: the majority of recipes are sourdough and as you will find out, keeping your own culture is not really worth it unless you bake every day. I have tried some of the breads with pre-ferment and they have all been very tasty.
Another complaint is that the book not designed to be brought into the kitchen. The organic and recycled look might be trendy but try wiping this book...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice design and handy but too many species missing, 5 Oct. 2010
This is a nice little book to bring to the forest but if you want to identify a mushroom which is not in this book (and that is very likely to happen), you will need another bigger book.
The layout, descriptions, photos and illustrations are good but it needs to have more mushroom species to be really useful.

Aquarium fish tank Precise thermometer
Aquarium fish tank Precise thermometer

5.0 out of 5 stars Good thermometer, 5 Oct. 2010
I had bought a couple of these on Ebay and they were always rubbish, with the mercury line broken in pieces so you couldn't tell what temperature it was showing. This one had no faults.
