5.0 out of 5 stars koss is boss, 3 July 2009
i was not even two when this concert was witnessed and i would walk over hot coals to have seen the genius that is kossoff,so this live album is a god send from the the band plays on to rockin roll junkie,my best track is it's a long way down to the top avery true reflection of the man playing majestically in the corner, every track is gold and the voice of terry wilson slesser was as good as koss's last lead vocalist.this live show was done a full three months before the debut album was put on sale,a very laid back feel to this album.this is a must have to anybody who has picked up a guitar and thinks i wanna be in a band.i could rabbit on all night but i'll leave you with this thought, don't make the mistake i did i left it very late to enjoy and love paul kossof where less was really more,he is one of britains finest guitarist's even if he is mainly over looked it is such a crying shame please don't pass this album up it is a cracker.right i've bored you enough tata.

first things first it's been a while from my last review, but a big thanks to concert live for the quickness of this exellent cd bieng delivered would recamend buying from them anytime no hassle at all.
black stone cherry r well on thier way to bieng the next led zeppelin thier heavy, strong, loud energetic to the max and this album (2 cds worth) is this band at their live best, its the album plus some nice covers an excellent homage to the late johnnie cash included and you can feel the rawness of the night anybody that was there well done to have survived.this band are on their way to greatness can't say that enough,if u manage to get this cd headphones r a must sit back and be blown away.
the only thing now i hope the next album rocks the place to foundations but you know it will.and lastly i hope they tour soon up here in sunny scotland,so i'm off to let my ears bleed again, cheers.

first of forget that this album is from a film it only 33mins long and is quite diffrent from the run of the mill eddie.this possibliy could be one of the best albums u could buy, from the off setting forth sets u free and on to a half hour of fantastic sounds.this gives us a look at eddie vedder not as the angry anti bush anti goverment man we know and love, but as a man that is simply content and happy.the next song no ceilling is mello, bringing as into far behind which has hints of pj but only hints mind.i could go on all nite but the songs are laid back and a nice change of direction hard sun, rise, the wolf the list is endless.bottom line if u love pj but are willing to see another feather in the cap of possibly one of the best and upfront front men of this age then like me u will welcome this with open arms.i'll finish now while the song long nights plays beautfilly in the back ground.

fantastic album start to finish when a band do a covers album you tend to cringe, not here from deep purples space truckin through led zeps thank you on to a ball dropping version of ball of confusion by the temptations which i think is the best track on disc one.bell bottom blues is another well covered track, good to hear frank hannon putting his own striking guitar work to these tracks, jeff keith sounds brillaint too.the only track im not keen on is the rolling stones honky tonk woman well covered but im not the biggest stones fan.look forward to getting my hands on the second disc to hear black sabbaths war pigs theres a song and ahalf along with lynard skynards saturday night special, and a song by the great areosmith seasons of wither a fantastic buy this you won't be disapointed and do yourself a favour get the origanals too

bad this to me is the weakest cd pearl jam have done to date maybe just me but there is not a single song stands out to me,they sound like they can't be bothered.that explains the long wait for new material (worth the wait though),they seem like they need to re-charge thier batterys.pearl jam r a fantastic band but this proves even the greats have off days, but if u want the full pj effect of the ups and downs of a band on the edge at that time then u need to buy this cd.

This review is from: Pearl Jam (Audio CD)
this to me is pearl jam of old raw and with fire in their bellys, their back with a bang.from the first life wasted to the end inside job which i think is the best track on this cd,also world wide suicide is a wake up call to the state of this world (time for hard hats),i've loved pj from the start so buy this u won't regret it.this cd is the best since yield and draws a line in the sand to say we're back.
