SquareEnix seems to use two companys to produce game guides for them. Piggyback for the flagship, numbered Final Fantasy games and Bradygames for the various spin offs and smaller titles. Having bought guides from both parties before I can honestly say Piggyback make far superior books. Bradygames guides are lacking in both physical quality and accurate information. This guide is no exception.
Admittedly i have only read half way through it, but have found miss spelt words, treasure chest contents & locations labbled wrong & missing doors. Worst so far, an entire key is missing from the side of a map. So all the chests are numbered yet the information as to what is in them is missing. I feel as a game walkthrough described as an 'indispensable companion' this is not acceptable. The paper quality is also awful with magazine style pages, very thin & flimsy.
The positives for this guide are small. The maps are useful to minimize getting lost. Boss encounter info is helpful but all expected. Atleast it was cheap which goes someway to explaining why Bradygames is still unfortunately in the guide making business.
