Mousecatraz: The Disney College Program
Mousecatraz: The Disney College Program
Price: £7.46

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting, 16 April 2014

Having been a part of the DCP a lot of the stories here seem highly unrealistic and some are clearly just outright lies. Aside from that it's an insightful look at the program and there are a lot of moments that program alumni will recognise.

As a former Cast Member myself this book brought back so many Memories. For those who haven't worked for Disney it really does provide a great insight into what working for the mouse is like. Definitely Give it a read.

Don't expect details on the behind the scenes magic but if you want a good insight into the pressures (and rewards) of working day in, day out for Disney's entertainment department this is the book to read.

Catherine is a great writer. This book was just as enjoyable a read as her Mousetrapped series of books. Recommended!

Self-Printed: The Sane Person's Guide to Self-Publishing (Second Edition)

5.0 out of 5 stars Detailed, informative, 3 April 2013
Left no stone unturned throughout the whole process. I was originally only considered self-publishing, but this has piqued my interest in printing too.

Detailed, informative and yet, still witty.

An absolutely fantastic read. Incredible to see how they blagged their way across the UK for free, with some incredible stories.

Well written (although some of the jokes do get old after a while), fun and informative!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works surprisingly well with Macbook Air, 1 Jan. 2013

Connected it to my Macbook Air and it was working instantly. It says it may need the two USB ports which would've been an issue on the Air but it didn't need two USBs, just the one.

Pop in a Disk and it opens up in DVD player app and just unplug when you don't need it, making your laptop nice and portal again.

Appearance-wise it's very simply black but also very sleek and the Amazon logo looks nice too.

The drive itself is small enough that you can pop it in a bag or a suitcase and take it with you on a trip and not notice it taking up any extra room. Love it!

Premium Range Replacement Medium Earbuds Tips Buds For Sennheiser CX SERIES Earphones 100% FITS (10 Pack Medium)
Offered by ICC-TECH
Price: £2.19

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheap, 1 Jan. 2013

Cheap and fit the sennheiser headphone even if it does take a bit more effort than it should to get them in.

They are made out of harder rubber than the sennheisers so more durable but also more uncomfortable.

A decent replacement but not the most comfortable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Useful, 1 Jan. 2013

Bought this after buying the Brit's guide to Orlando, not sure what is is but the Orlando guide seemed more useful. This one was very bland and the sections were sometimes a real chore to get through. Organising it by areas makes sense but did lead to repetition when a store was available in different areas. How about a section for each type of shopping - say luxury brands, affordable prices, etc.

I did find the Brit Tips useful as well as the translation from british to american english when it came to a few things.

The guide to the subway was great too.

I'm yet to use it when I'm out there yet, so will re-evaluate if necessary.

At the moment it seems that the book isn't 100% sure what it wants to be...a planning tool or a guide for when you are out there.

No hostels listed which was a shame too.

BaByliss for Men 7890U i-stubble Trimmer
BaByliss for Men 7890U i-stubble Trimmer
Offered by AOT (VAT registered)
Price: £74.95

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for that stubble look., 10 Sept. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Designer stubble...sexy stuff, huh? It's the look everyone is going for and with a device like this you too can pull it off. The BaByliss is easy to use - the trim length settings are accessible via 2 arrows. You can also remove the guard to use it to shape sideburns, etc. The charge lasts for AGES, and it doesn't take too long to charge - about 12 hours for a full charge.

In short, it's almost perfect.

If there were just one recommendation, it'd be that the device remember your last setting before you switch it off, because sometimes I will set it to 2.0mm and trim, then I'll switch it off for a minute to save battery whilst I clean the sink. I will then switch it on and it will have reset back to the default 0.4mm and I'll shave and my stubble look is ruined until it grows out again - if you can deal with that or are just less careless than me, then go for it!
