Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Good book very well laid out. However, I'm Sure there were two killers, this was not mentioned in the book, despite news paper articles from the time saying the police believed this to be the case, and also the savile connection not mentioned, savile was interviewed and teeth casts made. He was a suspect. 2 murders near his flat and one in savile park in leeds! So I'm not convinced Sutcliffe committed all the murders or by himself every time. Problems with the blood type don't add up. Read other books on this subject, keep open mind...

5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant, excellent research Blacket & Wilson!, 17 Mar. 2014
l love these guys. against all odds and with little or no support from other historians or so called scholars, their work is out there in the public domain and should be read - its our history, our true history, it shouldn't be hidden or destroyed. they have worked so hard and suffered for putting this truthful work out. And of course, if it isn't true why are people and organisations trying so hard to shut them up? this action only backs them up at the end of the day. i'm open minded to all research, but these two historians have proved to me at least what they know and what they have found is provable fact. I back them 100%.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 23 Dec. 2011
I love this book; the authors (who are university professors I believe) are experts in this subject. It's well written, very detailed, massively researched but very easy and entertaining to read. i've read it a few times, it's got a great bibliography for further research. Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Introduction to Vampires, 23 Dec. 2011
I am a huge fan of vampires, I bought this to add to my collection of books on the subject. It didnt tell me too much i didn't already know but it is a good read. It's got everything you need to know if you are only just getting into this sort of thing and provides a good bibliography for further reading and research.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful book, 23 Dec. 2011
This was the first book of Simon Marsden I bought mainly because of the photos, but having read it, it also contains useful info on English history and lots of spooky stories that i hadnt heard of and places I'd like to visit, it's a bit of a tourists guide i suppose for ghostly goings on. Enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fasinating true story, 23 Dec. 2011
I really enjoyed this book and have read it more than once. It is a truely eye opening insight into the historical true accounts of Vlad the impaler, with a lot of interesting info on the era he lived in and how he came to be such an infamous man.
I 100% recommend this book
