Great storyline, 24 Feb 2012
The storyline is captivating as in effect it gives a younger you a second chance to put things right and reap the benefits from these cathartic actions in the present moment. The journey is an interesting one to observe from the perspectives of the many characters from all time zones. At one point the main character has the opportunity to make love with his younger self which is the ultimate narcissistic act. In all it is a film that provokes fresh thinking and breaks new ground.

Not for the faint hearted which makes it a must to watch, 24 Feb 2012
If this film was a cheese it would be a very ripe brie... not to everyone's liking but if you're able to suspend your initial reactions to some of the short falls you will find plenty of accompaniments to make the experience an enriching and thought provokingly entertaining one. It combines the eccentricity of a forbidden love between two gay characters and the suicidal pact made at a conscious level similar to Santhara in the Jain religion (ritual of voluntary death by fasting with full knowing and intent). There are some great lines which resonate with those who feel at odds with the society they feel coerced into conforming with. One in particular went along the lines of ... 'being accepted for a mortgage is the biggest insult that could happen to you in your life'. And as for bringing your own candelabra to breakfast at a greasy cafe - well just classic eccentric behaviour really. The scenes towards the end are somewhat disturbing for the naked performances delivered can leave you shocked for feeling as if you have witnessed the actual event happening. This after all is the gauge of a good film the disbelief that you believed that it could happen in the first place.

Inspiring, 11 Feb 2012
Leaves you with a longing that you too can reach the states which take you beyond yourself into being unequivocally courageous and giving no second thoughts to the consequences of your acts. A great film of living a raw life, yet questions if it's sustainable.

Good holiday read, 11 Feb 2012
Some good challenges included but not necessarily at an enlightening level. Great holiday read especially if you read a chapter or two a day and challenge yourself with the key challenges suggested.

Great product for money, 11 Feb 2012
Easy to transport and set up. More suitable for entrant level set ups. Adjustable height makes it adaptable to shooting in newer buildings with lower ceilings.

Urbania mania, 3 Aug 2009
A tragic story of a love cut short, the misguided perception of stereotypes as they try to make sense of their own lives and a reflection on healing the wounds of grief make Urbania a winning combination. The film is directed and edited with precision and chaos creating an air of confusion as you attempt to gauge the time at which key moments take place. A number of hard hitting scenes and the controlled passion from all actors keep this thriller bubbling along at an uncomfortable heat.

Les is legendary. Unfortunately the compilation on this DVD is not. Though ofcourse remembering the best bits makes you forgive the rest but not enough to watch it again.

Fantastic, 1 Aug 2009
Reading this book reminded me of slipping in and out of day dreams as a child. John's writing is captivating despite the fact that the storyline never quite lifts from normality and his descriptions of every passing moment is based on the minutest of details. It is true to say that he makes the ordinairy extraordinairy and carries you with his thoughts wherever they may be. A heart warming read.

Disappointing, 1 Aug 2009
If you would like to know how not to make a film then watch this. Low budget films are usually compensated by strong characters, captivating story lines and the contentment that the hour and a half of your time has been a worth while investment. If you expect any of these things from this film you will be disappointed - heavily. TLA releasing to date has been associated with a good number of well made and enjoyable films. However this film will now make a large number of people question whether the name can be associated with quality moving forward. If they have any quality control this film should never have passed on all levels. Avoid
