Just the best sax playing you will hear this year - but against a musical background as surprising as it is brilliant. Get it

5.0 out of 5 stars Anti-glare protection for my macro lens with the Hoya circular polar filter, 22 Jun 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Does everything I want: it shades the lens without intruding on the pictures - particuarly when using flash on close up subjects. The locking screw thread is particularly good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does what it needs to, 22 Jun 2013

There will always be a glare problem with compact digital cameras that don't have an eye-piece. These improve the ability to use the camera in bright sunlight as well as can be expected - but an eyepiece is still preferrable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cut out the glare, 22 Jun 2013

I was having problems with over exposure and not enough colour saturation. I know Hoya is a by-word for quality in filters and I am not disappointed.

Good touch and feel to the keys - and dirt cheap. Plugged in and worked straight away - can't ask for more.

Despite his well documented issues with early-onset Alzxheimer's Pratchett continues to deliver his comic alternate world in detail and with great humour.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Gadget, 27 Aug 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Firstly, the supplier is fantastic: ordered on the 23rd, arrived on the 25th August. Brilliant, The product is excellent. I do a lot of macro photography and trying to get depth of field for insects requires a large aperture and no matter what I did, how hard I bolted down the tripod, it seemed that just the act of touching the shutter release could cause a bit of shake. When you blew the pictures up to look at that scales on a moth's wing it became obvious.
I put the piece together, laughed at the pidgeon English (which is so much better than my Mandarin), plugged it in and it worked first time. I took a dozen shots of 8 insects and every shot was pin-sharp: which says two thing: my eyes are still okay to focus manually and the shutter release works superbly well.
