With a background in e-commerce, SEM and web analytics, Nathalie Nahai's book has been a great help for me to move into my next frontier: conversion optimization and online user behavior/persuasion.

The book is extremely well-written and highly relevant for everyone with an interest in e-commerce and, as the author accurately states it, insights about "the secret strategies that makes us click". The book is filled with useful real-life examples and plain simply a joy to read.

I've been fortunate enough to attend one of Nathalie's presentations and she is equally great at conveying her findings and insights in person as she is in writing. If you get the opportunity, you should go for it.

I give "Webs of Influence: The Psychology of Online Persuasion" my warmest recommendation.
