5.0 out of 5 stars emotional blackmail, 23 July 2010
I was recommended this book by a client who was feeling the emotional strain of looking after someone close with a mental health issue. I would resommend this book too, for anyone who is having someone say to them "if you loved me you would....." or "You know I love you so I expect you to ...." or "You can't love me if you do ...."
It clearly unfolds the causes, reasoning and expectations from both the blackmailer and those being blackmailed so as challenge can be made without feeling the guilt of having to say "NO"
Easy reading and uses a lot of common sense

Better read than seen. Typical Frank Paeretti book. Sets the scene then follows the characters and storyline well with twists and unexpected moves. Final outcome Good always wins but there are some twists on the journey

5.0 out of 5 stars beautiful book, 7 Jun 2010
Ephesians is my favourite book in the Bible and I find it so much of an encouragement to read - Who I am In Christ. This Bible study by Max is just beautiful and simple yet has depths of truth that are so challenging positively and yet humbling

A lovely way of expressing grief with a child and helpoing them to understand that it is ok to feel the loss and pain and to miss someone. Adults and children tend to put on brave faces - but it is ok to cry and not hide the greif

The Manga Bible: Extreme (Bible Tniv)

Edition: Paperback

3.0 out of 5 stars manga, 7 Jun 2010
Great way to read the bible in bite size pieces and in the manga format. A little disappointed that the Bible version was so old fashioned for such a modern twist of Manga being used. Felt as different as chalk and cheese.

Not the same ilk as his others and has too many similarities to the Oath, but still a good read
