It is even better than I expected

Just bought the kindle edition. It is even better than I expected. The story telling is incredible, the writing amazing and the self deprecating humour sidesplitting. The dissection of the whole rock and roll circus could only have been written by someone like Mick Wall who is now a mature writer and man,not a sycophantic youth . There is none of the Greil Marcus eulogising about rock music's cultural importance. This is about the sheer messy world of the music business. Hence, you get the laughs with the bathos. as Mick Wall writes beautifully about the ups and downs in life with none of us really knowing what we are doing or why? The chapter on Jimmy Page, The Dark Magus is worth the book price alone. It is quite sad
Superb Book.

I'm not sure what it is about. It is well written with nice stories but I'm unsure how to develop the concepts therein

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish, 8 July 2011
Probably the worse book ever written. It isn't a book, it is simply a series of already printed interviews, a number of which appear on the internet like Fast Eddie Clarke's. Absolutely atrocious.
Why is a book published on Motorhead with not one author interview of the band members?
There is no personal history: familial, societal whatever. Do not buy. I don't want to give it any stars but the review won't let me submit this without doing so. But one star is too much.
