no joke, I had this for 3 months, then one morning I came down to find the connection between the doc and the ipod was on fire.. needless to say the ipod and doc were both ruined.

sadly it took philips more than 7 months to replace both.. very poor customer service..

I can not recommend this product, or philips customer service.

Shiver
Shiver
by Alan Buckley
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars exactly what poetry should be, 13 Nov. 2011
This review is from: Shiver (Paperback)
It is a rare thing to find such a wealth of astounding writing in one collection.

I read avidly, but can not remember the last time I felt so absorbed and involved in poetry. Alan Buckley clearly understands what poetry is, he manages to convey such clarity of perception, and writes so profoundly with delicate precise beauty, that I have been moved, to tears, to laughter, with nostalgia. I feel when I read this collection as though my eyes are seeing the world a new, as though I am laid bare with the world around me.

It is by far the best of the 40-50 books I have read in the last year, its only a short collection, but so rich that I have revisited it many times, and each time its like reading it anew.

I cant give it higher praise, it is, what poetry should be.
