5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book, Great Read, Glad I bought it!, 8 May 2011
This book is a must for any student (at any point in their education - whether just stating out, undergraduate or even masters), lecturer or researcher. Want to know how to sum up complex, intriguing psychological in an in depth, understandable format? - look no further!

The book not only accurately sums up key psychological issues of contemporary and historical psychology, but also has great sections on areas relating to areas key in contemporary forensic, clinical and psychological literature. For example the book has a wonderful section summing up 21st century biological positivist views - in particular that of Raine!

Furthermore the book aptly assesses and evaluates new areas including Kleptomania, Cyber crime and Mood Disorders.

Its not just the Authors contribution which is impressive the Guest Chapters On Schizophrenia and Research Methods currently used in Contemporary Forensic Research are brilliant and insightful as well.

Furthermore the Disk comes with a comprehensive, interactive and insanely useful DVD/CD-ROM, which combines real life interviews, interactive multiple choice questions on the literature, stories which explore contemporary debates, and documentaries, a key text for any undergraduate student!!
