A good interesting read, 8 Dec. 2011
I read this book when i was pregnant and wanting a home birth but having trouble with the local NHS midwife. I was fascinated by the bravery of the author and all she had to go through because she did not choose to have her baby in hospital. Lucky for us Brits that we are a bit more forward thinking about natural birth in this country that in the States.
It is a good read and i would recommend it to anyone interested in natural births...however, i am not sure i would recommend doing it unassisted. we had a safe natural homebirth in the end and i was pleased the midwife was there too.
