5.0 out of 5 stars Top song, 17 Nov 2003
This review is from: Fortune Faded [CD 1] (Audio CD)
This is a great song, as are the other two songs on this CD (especially 'Bunker Hill'). I recommend proper Chilis fans get this CD as there's no point buying Greatest Hits if you've already got the previous albums.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor, 17 Nov 2003
This review is from: F1 Manager (PC) (Video Game)
F1 management games have always been difficult to get right - this one suffers many of the same problems previous attempts did. You have to sit through the whole race which takes far too long and is quite boring and the drivers' AI is pretty poor. While the graphics are good and the out of race management (e.g. hire/fire drivers, sponsorship etc) is fun, this is overall a disappointing game - and of course the complete absence of weather conditions (how could this happen?!) is absolutely ridiculous!

Francis Ridley Havergal: The Touching Story of One of England's Favourite Hymnwriters

2.0 out of 5 stars Amateurish, 8 May 2003
While this may be a mildly interesting introduction for a novice, the scholar will be disappointed by lack of key features such as a bibliography or any credits. It seems to be a ersatz regurgitation of one of Enock's earlier works, and it shows. If you want to read about Frances Ridley Havergal, get a different book - there are plenty!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good chill out album, 8 May 2003
This review is from: Lungs for the Race (Audio CD)
When you listen to this, sit or lie down - it's not music for standing up to! It's good, chilled out stuff, like REM fusing with Radiohead. And for one man working pretty much by himself - impressive stuff!

4.0 out of 5 stars The must-have book for this era of history, 26 Feb 2003
If you have to study the first half of the 19th century, this is the book to have. Hobsbawm writes logically, clearly, and on a wide range of issues, including ones you would not necessarily expect, such as the arts and sciences. As well as being informative, it is an interesting and eye-opening read.
Hobsbawm's left-wing attitudes are clear throughout much of the book, and this puts many historical events in a light you may not have seen them in before. In summary, this is a great book and the start of a great series - Hobsbawm is one of the greatest historians of our time.
