The classic folding saw, for a reason.

Cuts well, no play, solid lockup.

Cheaper than lesser products.

You get a lot, so make sure you need such a large bag.

2.0 out of 5 stars Struggling to keep up with its adverised specifications/overheating, 26 Sept. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is cheap, and made by a known brand.

However, one of my computers that works fine with all other USB drives, takes about a minute to read and recognise it.

Also, the drive appears very slow for a 3.0 USB drive, in various computers.. It just seems to be like a fast USB 2.0 drive.

Finally when you transfer a larger file (lets say 1GB) it gets really hot; too hot to touch, which makes me wonder whether it will last long or whether it poses a fire risk.

In general you get the impression of a device struggling to keep with its advertised specifications, with two much internal resistance that slows it down and makes it hot.

If you want a cheap, large, reasonably fast drive it may be worth buying.

If you want a true USB 3.0 drive, and are worried about fires then buy something else.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, works well, a bit small, why not SS?, 26 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I am happy with the product, in general.

It is easy to secure, operate and clean and works well stuffing sausages.I have posted some pictures too.

I have used it on 3 occasions so far and was happy with the results every time. You can adjust the sausage girth easily by regulating the speed at which the intestine moves out.

Can be easily operated by just one person, though it is easier with two if you are doing a lot of sausages.

Some issues:

Why wasn't made with SS? The aluminium can oxidise a bit and can not be washed in a dishwasher. (The shaft seems SS)

It is a bit small; you will get about 750g of stuffing in each time so you will need to refill regularly (easy to do).

The suction cup can not be removed easily so you need to make sure the inside parts are dry (air dry only...) before storing.

The tube's inside appears scratched, after doing about 20kg of sausages. I hope that this will be just a cosmetic problem.

There is some juice leakage during use so the whole system is not sealed very well. This is a minor issue.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking, small buttons, small memory, 20 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Blast from the past.
Suitable for a child around 10 years old. (buttons and strap size)
Gadgety enough with its automatic light and databank.
Easy to operate.

The main problems are:
The calculator buttons are tiny; too small for adult, male, fingers.
It only has a memory for 25 numbers which may have been great 20 years ago but they could have easily incorporated more memory nowadays.
Feels a bit flimsy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Flimsy, bad quality, fun to build but it does not work, 14 Jan. 2014

This was easily put together but:

The battery unit did not provide any power to the motor. The motor was tested and worked fine but from what I could see some bits were missing from the female connection to the battery box.

The whole engine has a lot of friction and it is hard to turn, despite a good cleaning/trimming of the plastic bits.

If you try to take the valves apart be careful as they will break.

The worst is that when you put the fan belt on it pulls the shaft pulley up bending it and making it impossible to turn. It is just too tight. This can not be fixed/adjusted with what is supplied.

So, the child gave up and was left with a lot of disappointment as the engine he built did not work. Definitely not a good product. :(

3.0 out of 5 stars Has similar games to the Leapad Ultra, 14 Jan. 2014

It has some nice games but they are basic and very similar to what you get, included, with the Ultra model.

So if you have the Ultra model you do not need to buy this too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Slow, bad sound, not very durable but still fun., 14 Jan. 2014
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
This was bought from Amazon, but not by me.

The bad:
Considering that this is the top model I was surprised by how slow it is, compared to similarly priced tablets. It takes a long time to start or load and the screen is not very sensitive to touch; I would say as sensitive as a touchscreen from 8 years ago (i.e. photocopier).

The included games are minimal/basic and do not take any advantage of the claimed capabilities of the pad.

The cameras are really bad; we are talking 7 year old mobile phone camera quality.

The WORST is the durability. Considering the age range it is aimed at it should not have been damaged by repeated drops form a height of under 30cm (children running with it and dropping it). However the speaker was damaged and now you get a very annoying squeaking sound if you raise the volume (It was used on full volume on several occasions before but it is no that loud; not loud enough to damage any half decent speaker).

Every time you switch it on you need to connect to the Wi-Fi as the connection gets lost when you turn it off.

There do not seem to be any games available made especially for this model.

The battery life is not good.

Not many options (Customisation) available in the parent mode

The good:

Some nice, safe, videos are available with internet connection.

It's a tablet and children will like that.

It has a "parent" mode to adjust some settings.

It looks nice.
