Amanda doesn't know what she wants from life but she does know she mustn't ever get hung up on Jared King. Ooops! Taking the job as his PA can Amanda steer Jared in the right direction with his family and the King empire and avoid the deepening attraction between them?

A passionate read with a sweet heroine and a sexy male lead. Would recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Suspense with a lick of romance!, 2 July 2014

Reading this book is like watching a tense episode of a TV crime drama. We know that Helen has run away from her old life but who has followed? Or are the nasty surprises she keeps getting nothing to do with her at all. Criminal psychologist Donovan is a breath of fresh air and looking after his daughter provides Helen with the grounding normality she needs. But someone is closing in.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me turning the pages. I did figure out the culprit before the end but that didn't detract from my enjoyment. The characters were well drawn and the plot was tight.

A great suspense - would recommend!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good YA read, 15 Jun 2014
This review is from: Irresistible (Kindle Edition)
This was the first young adult novel I've read in a while but I really enjoyed it. It was easy to relate to Mia and the situations she finds herself in. I went from rooting for her to get together with Dan, then Jamie, then Dan again. Wasn't sure about her feelings for Cleo and whether the book really needed that. All in all a good read with some sexy scenes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Something for everyone!, 9 Jun 2014

This was a good selection of short stories ranging from quirky to scary and back again. I really enjoyed The Snack and the very first story which left me unable to even look at my sat nav for a while! Great escapism!

If you love stories about how the other half live then this is a must for you. Designer dresses, balls, hunts and a rather sexy lead make for a page-turning read set amongst the privileged in Oxford's university campus.

Feisty Lauren Cusack, comes to the UK to study but gets more than she bargains for when she meets Alexander Hunt. A titled, moody Alpha who is keeping secrets - what more could you want from a hero?

Pure, sexy escapism!

5.0 out of 5 stars Could not put it down!, 5 May 2014
This review is from: A Single Breath (Paperback)
I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because it's one of the best books I've ever read. I was completely hooked from the very first page and straight away was emotionally invested in Eva, the heroine. I'm not a big fan of description but Lucy Clarke weaves it so beautifully around the action you really feel that cold day on the rocks in Dorset and later the heat, dust and bush of Tasmania. I can't say much more because the plot is full of twists and turns you need to experience yourself. I adored it!

Women's fiction with suspense, mystery and emotional pull. Highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Intelligent, erotic read!, 6 April 2014

I really enjoyed the flirtatious, then seductive, banter between Annabel and Aidan. If you've not read a spicier romance then this is a great one to start with because there's plenty of story to go along with those hot scenes.

If you read most of it before you pick up the kids from school your blushes might last right to the gates!

I couldn't wait for this third part of Ceri's story and was not disappointed! The reader is taken on an emotional journey that pulls at the heart strings as we follow Ceri and Alex's lives with each other/without each other and the consequences of their choices. Another gripping read and the ending...I need the next part right now!

When Kezia lands herself at James' door all she expects is a job. But from their first encounter it's obvious there's going to be so much more than that.

Both characters are alone for different reasons, they're both headstrong and capable, a perfect mix for passion to explode. And it does!

A sexy read with hot scenes to melt your Kindle and a story you'll remember. Recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars The icing on the cake of Christmas reads!, 19 Dec 2013
Without a doubt this is a very special Christmas novella that will have you filling up your glass with mulled wine and drawing the curtains as you're transported to Lapland.

Jessie has had the perfect life with her soul-mate but when that's ripped away from her how does she go on? Where is her centre? What does life hold for her? A trip to Lapland with her brother throws her a curve ball. This special place she dreamt of visiting with her husband is beautiful but soon also becomes mysterious and electrifying. Who is Mikku? Who is the gorgeous singer at The Ice Tree? And are either of them Jessie's way forward?

Brilliantly written, full of festive charm and like every good Christmas book should, it comes with a spot of magic!
