3.0 out of 5 stars sabbath bloody sabbath, 16 Jan. 2012
This review is from: Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (Audio CD)
Sorry but you lot are wrong! This is not a great album. Bad sound / production. A few great riffs and classic stuff - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath,Killing Yourself to Live. Some real rubbish such as Fluff, Spiral Architect. Who Are You isn't much cop,as is Looking FoR Today. Decent National Acrobat and Sabbra Cadabra. Before you have a go, I've been a Sabbath fan since 1975.

4.0 out of 5 stars really good cd, 15 July 2010
Well I have to disagree with most reviews so far! This is a really good cd. Really listenable, great guitar riffs and solos, lively drumming, atmospheric singing. I thought the first two tracks were great especially Poisoned throne. great riffs and lovely solo. Without Morals is a great track and The Day You Built The Wall is a great varied track. I don't think there is a bad track on the cd and it is much better than many of their other albums. One of the best cds this year for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars very good but not great, 22 Nov. 2009
YES this is a very good cd but the other reviews are way over the top! To start with it's way too short, i'ts not as good as violent revolution and there are better thrash cds out at the momen. A very good cd but not great

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic metal album., 5 Sept. 2009
This review is from: Power & The Glory (Audio CD)
This is a must for all Saxon fans and fans of great British heavy metal alike. For me this is Saxon's best album. The riffs from Redline, Watching the Sky and The Eagle Has Landed are great. The production is really top notch and there are some really good solos too. Some of the bonus tracks are well worth having. If you only buy one Saxon cd in your life get this

1.0 out of 5 stars a massive disappiontment, 5 Aug. 2008
This review is from: Nostradamus (Audio CD)
ive been a Priest fan since 1975. They have released some naff albums over the years along with the great ones but this is a poor cd. It sounds really dated, with a dull sound, very few great riffs and poor guitar sounds. Where are those great solos I did'nt hear many. To be honest I found the cd painful to listen to except for Halford's singing.
