Russell Hobbs 13618 1.5 L Energy Saving Thermal Kettle in Stainless Steel, 2 kW
Russell Hobbs 13618 1.5 L Energy Saving Thermal Kettle in Stainless Steel, 2 kW

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this kettle, 24 Aug 2009
My flatmate bought this kettle over a year ago. Water boiled in it has been pretty bad every time it's used but today it's awful. Looking inside it seems the metal internal surface is dissolving. That, combined with terrible flavours, not turning off when boiling and the water gauge issues, makes this kettle
rubbish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sonic toothbrushes work better, 27 Feb 2006
I've been using a Phillips Sonicare for two years now and would recommend it highly for results and reliability, except the brush heads are a tenner or more each and often not in my local Boots. Sonic brushes seem able to clean to the gums more gently and effectively than a manual brush.
I bought one of these for the cheaper brush heads but they are also better designed for brushing in the harder to reach areas. The Sonicare has a plastic "guard" on it which can prove awkward at the back of the mouth.
The three settings aren't all that (unless you have sensitive gums which will probably improve with time and a good toothbrush anyway)so the cheaper model might be better value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful, useful, 24 Feb 2006
This review is from: Adobe Photoshop CS 2 (PC) (CD-ROM)
This has been great.
I 've had it CS2 for two months now and it does far more than i realised to begin with and has become more intuitive every time i use it.
From simply cropping and tidying pictures to remaking them entirely it does the job much better than any other editing software i have used (admittedly it wasn't so expensive!) I do still find new ways of using the features and there's a lot i've not used, or needed to use, yet.
Very powerful, not necessary if you only want to sort out holiday snaps.
Be warned because it's addictive and may lead to other purchases - graphics pad, monitor, illustrators etc... but very worthwhile and loads of fun.
