1.0 out of 5 stars Foam pad in a plastic box, 23 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you have a large plastic box or bucket, create an inlet pipe on top, an outlet near the top, fill it with pipe offcuts, stuff in a piece of foam... and you have something just as functional as the Ecocel 10000.

I don't get this product at all. The foam filter is insubstantial and lets debris past into the water reservoir. There is nothing to hold the foam filter in place. Filtration is pretty minimal.

2.0 out of 5 stars Does NOT charge DELL Venue 8 pro, 13 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought this to charge my US purchases DELL Venue 8 Pro. Will happily charge my phones but not the tablet. Although not explicitly mentioned I had assumed as it was the correct rating that it would charge my tablet... you live and learn.

4.0 out of 5 stars A bit slow but feature packed, 25 Sep 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Looking for a replacement for an occasional printer with wireless capabilities.

DON'T EXPECT TO BE BOWLED OVER BY THE OUTPUT. Printing quality can be described as "acceptable" at best and is also pretty slow compared to some other printers, particularly at the higher quality.

However wired/wireless support, full duplex, automated document feeder (ADF) with double-sided scan, scan to PDF etc.

THIS IS ONE HELL OF A FEATURE PACKED PRINTER FOR THE PRICE !!!

OK, so a 16 pages of double sided document with graphics (16 pages) takes 2 minutes to scan to PDF. However just to be able to do that is amazing. To be able to do that simply by loading the ADF tray and without touching the printer again... pretty impressive even if the print quality is mediocre.

------Update
If you are using Windows 8 RT devices to print wirelessly you may struggle. I have gotten it to work with the "Epsom ESC/P-R V4 Class Driver" which seems to work for basic printing but removes all the printing options and features.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, 3 Jun 2012
I bought this (not from amazon). I was looking for a large 4-burner barbecue with side burner. I was really disappointed with the product, which isn't cheap, but is really cheaply made.

To my surprise, it arrived in 3 humungous boxes, but fit together without too much hassle.

However the overall product:
- Feels quite flimsy and cheaply made
- Cabinet doors didn't line up and no shelf in the cupboard
- No tray or facility for adding lava or other flavoured briquettes
- Gaping, huge, unnecessary "ventilation" holes on the side of the hood to enable to hood to go over the warning tray edges, mean the temperature is capped at around 200 Celsius and massive heat loss out of the sides.
- Insubstantial side burner
- Nothing to hold the grill and griddle in place
- Enamelling on the grills far from perfect

Doesn't disappoint on size, but that's about the only saving grace. Overall a big disappointment.

3.0 out of 5 stars USB playback limited, 1 Mar 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought this to play mp3's from a USB stick. Works quite well as described in other reviews mp3 filename appears on the screen which is useful. A few issues if you are playing tracks from mp3. A lot of options don't seem to work with USB files, specifically:

- You can't move forwards/backwards within a track on USB (you can of course skip tracks)
- Pressing the skip track button only advances one track at a time, if you want to skip more than one track, you need to keep hitting the button... this is annoying if you have 70 or 80 tracks
- Track ordering is a bit random, if you don't explicity have track numbers tagged in your mp3 files
- No way to browse folder names, they show up as Album A001 etc
- Tracks show up as A001T001, A001T002 which means you need to remember track numbers

Audio quality is more than acceptable and it looks quite smart.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great sound, not customisable, 13 Dec 2010
Bought this in December 2010 (not from amazon). It fits perfectly width-wise under a 40-inch Samsumg LCD TV and looks great. I chose this unit instead of a full cinema system because I didn't want a whole load of cables and speakers dotted around my living room. With the wireless sub-woofer discretely placed, this is a real neat and tidy compromise option.

Sound that it produces is excellent. Comparing this to the sound that comes out of your TV set, you will be stunned.

Some minor frustrations. I would have liked to have a customised sound mode. You only seem to be able to chose from the 6 presets and can't even modify treble/bass. Also there is a delay in start-up when you turn on the TV, it does turn on the soundbar, but the sound takes about 10 seconds to kick in. When you shut the TV off, the unit goes to sleep, but after a long delay. There is also no auto-switch between the multiple inputs, so if you have an external device, eg dvd/blu-ray player, attached and you don't want the sound coming via your TV, you have to switch inputs manually via the remote.

Check the sync delay as it is automatically set to 50ms, if you are using an optical link you probably wont have any sync delay.
