4.0 out of 5 stars Happy, 17 Feb 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
THE GOOD:

1) Excellent sound
2) Good build - they feel solid
3) Look fantastic
4) Canvas bad is good
5) Really good at blocking out external sounds
6) Very little sound leak (good for the quiet carriage on the train)

THE BAD
1) They do pinch the ears - after a few days it goes away but they are not the most comfortable - (I have big head - I'm 1900mm six foot three)
2) Phone link - Not they don't work with my Samsung S3, only the stop /start button works - No one can hear you on calls, but you can hear them. up down volume does not work
3) The snapping headband problem - seems to happen a lot - look it up

Overall very happy

4.0 out of 5 stars Briglin Pottery, 13 Feb 2009
I have a copy in front of me on my coffee table, it sits beside a briglin lamp and a few 70's tiles and some Briglin pottery I have collected.

The book is for the Briglin collector. If you want to know about Briglin then it's a good book. I would like more pictures and more items, more colour and something about all the potters who worked there, but since it's the only book about Briglin Pottey then I can't complain.

Thanks Anthea, BW, Alex.

5.0 out of 5 stars I wish he had written more...., 18 July 2004
M.R.JAMES. Woo....If you are English forget all the other "horror" writers, bin them, this hits the spot. Not only the best horror writer I have ever read, but also the best short story writer (BEST BOOK I READ IN 2003). Boy... can he tell a story in 15-25 pages. The wonderful thing about the tales is their attention to detail. Nothing is out of place. The start (hints) middle (hints) and end (shock!). Great!, at the price they are buy 10 and give them away at Christmas. P.S. these tales are really scary ... not for the under 13.... WONDERFUL I WISH THERE WAS MORE!!! P.S. some Latin will help
