Oasis are my favourite ever band, and this is my favourite ever album, with a close 2nd being Morning Glory, in an interview about every single album they have done, and they will ever do, They always say that there latest album is as good as Definitely Maybe, which sometimes is never true, hut are still very good, this is the song by song anaysis.

I like this album, it has got some great and typical Coldplay tracks on it, some new sounds and some average songs, but apart from that it is a good album.

4.0 out of 5 stars Shamelessly Underrated, 18 Oct. 2005
This review is from: Be Here Now (Audio CD)
Because of all the hype and the first 2 albums being classic, Be Here Now doesn't reach the high standards of the first 2 albums, but that doesn't make it a bad album, I still think somewhere in those 12 tracks there are 3-4 classic Oasis Songs.

"D'You Know What I Mean?". Too Long, yet resembles The Stone Roses song Break Into Heaven, I still like this song.4/5

"My Big Mouth".A song trying to be in the Definitly Maybe era, but thats good.4/5

"Magic Pie". One of the 2 epics on the album, this one fails to shine. 2.5/5

"Stand by Me" One of the Classics on the album. 4.5/5

"I Hope, I Think, I Know". Another good song that should've been a b-side instead of Stay Young in my view. 3.5/5

"The Girl in the Dirty Shirt". Ok could do worse. 3/5

"Fade In-Out" I like this one especially the slide guitar played by Actor Johnny Depp 4/5

"Don't Go Away" . The Highlight, the only proper ballds on the album. 4.5/5

"Be Here Now" . Awesome Rock song. 4/5

"All Around the World" . Too Hey jude and Yellow Submarine, but still wonderful. 4/5

"It's Gettin' Better (Man!!)"Great Rock n Roll Anthem. 4/5

"All Around the World (Reprise)" Won't rate

So overall a really underrated album, which stands up with any album.
