Rotifer has made an album of cleverly constructed thoughtful music which lyrically seems to plough the furrow of having grown up on the radical left and seen the contradictions in herant there yet still be supportive of the ideals. Musically the songs range from bosa nova through waltz and folk to rock/pop abd are well worth listening to. BUY IT NOW

Viv Albertine has long been someone much admired by those who loved the music of the Slits from the late 70's and early 80's and this album is everybit as good. Clever, inciteful lyrics blend with contemperary music provided by her and her excellent fellow muscians. An excellent set well worth purchasing. Confessions of a Milf, Hook Up Girl and Still England being my favourites at the moment.

Serafina Steer is a real talent, clever but not annoyingly so and an unquestionable musianship. Clever lyrics that don't follow the usual verse chorus routine and just stunning songs. Reminded me somewhat of the stuff that The Ravishing Beauties were doing in the early 80's, but that is no bad thing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pop Punk As it Should Be, 21 Feb 2013

Forget all the dross that has been clogging the charts under the dubious moniker of Pop Punk, Veronica Falls are the real deal. Songs og genuine tunefulness with thoughtful lyrics. A true gem of an album and every bit as good as their debut.
