5.0 out of 5 stars New Kerouac! What's Not to Love?, 5 Mar 2014

Lost on a taxi and finally in print. A chance to read yet more of the formative JK and develop more of an understanding of how he developed to being On The Road and beyond. A slim volume, but of huge import. Some of this novella later re surfaces as sketches in other books, but holds together well as one man searches for America.

Hugely recommended to any JK fans and casual readers alike. This must be the last lost 'novel' by JK that might be found.

New Jack kerouac! What is not to love about that?

An ok book that gives a new reader an overview of the events of 1888. Nothing new here and the layout leaves a lot to be admired.

Don't let the cover let you think that this is children's music. the Hats have always been slightly on the edge lyrically and have always been wonderfully dance musically. this CD is great, that is all that is needed to be said. Buy ait and dance your life away. ;)

Folk of the 80's is just such a great cd that captures the 80's and serves it up in all it overblown kitch style and pomp. It shows you what an underrated band the Hats where and if you buy it, you will realise that the folk of the 80's are now the folk of the 2010's

A fantastic retrospective that shows what a great band the Hats can be. Buy it and be happy. This cd covers the whole gamut of their work, although is narrow on Sideways, their greatest album.

This is a great album and worth the money to here the hats do something that they have not done before - completly wig out with guitars! A really fantastic cd that should be more widely appreciated.

5.0 out of 5 stars In the beginning..., 11 May 2013
This review is from: The Redeemer (MP3 Download)
I am not familiar with their other output, which seems to amount to three other cds, but this strange cd is captivating in its strangeness. I thought it would be quite cerebral given the album cover - and it is; I still have not figured it our. Well worth a listen if you are adventurous in your listening habits.
