5.0 out of 5 stars A great product, delightful to use., 25 Oct. 2015

Very smooth surface, as if working with the iPhones on screen. The packaging was great (comes in a wooden box). Quite innovative approach for placing it correctly on the screen so that the screen protector is aligned perfectly. I am Very happy with it and would recommend this screen protector.

Timex Men's Quartz Watch with Black Dial Analogue Display and Brown Leather Strap T2N948

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it, 12 Jan. 2015

It is a really nice watch. Great dial and good leather strap.
Someone mentioned winding excessively to change date; you just need to pull the crown on the side out half way to engage date changer (changes both ways with clockwise and counter clockwise rotation).
Overall, a great watch with simple, elegant dial display.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good quality, robust and useful, 21 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A bit tight for some of the newer 17.3" laptops with full key board (like Acer V3-771G, it is a very tight snug and requires bit of fiddling to fit it in) but otherwise, quality is superb, robust and enough space to add files/books along with cables / adaptors (or adding a light night dress for overnight stay). Overall, I am very pleased with it (although wishing if they had added another inch or two, it would be super perfect to have bigger laptops fit in easily).

2.0 out of 5 stars Predictable - boring !!!, 21 Jun. 2014
This review is from: The Kill List (Paperback)
It is a flat story line, devoid of any twists and turns, any interesting development- everything is always going in the direction of the protagonist, 100% of his plans pan out exactly as the hero wants - hence very predictable and hence becomes quite boring, a bit of drag to read till the end.

2.0 out of 5 stars Its barely OK, 21 Jun. 2014

This review is from: Alif the Unseen (Paperback)
I read reviews and bought it thinking it would be a great read (based on other reviews). The premise is interesting, and the author does go into some of the deeper issues involved in faith and fantasy, real and virtual / super natural worlds, however, for me, the novel is missing the thrill, the pull, the desire to know what happens next. In the end it became a drag to read and I finished it with will power rather than it being interesting to read. My wife read it and had a similar impression- i.e. unfortunately it gets boring and hard effort to continue reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good machine, lots of RAM, 7 May 2014
I have this laptop for over 8 months now, it is a good machine, lots of RAM (have not managed to get past 35-40% usage, although I am running Virtual machines, Adobe After Effects, MS PowerBI etc. :) )

The only slight (occasional) botheration is the wireless card, I don't know if its a software driver bug or the wireless card itself has an issue, but occasionally it drops the WiFi connections and I have to manually restart wireless connection (or wait for 10-15 minutes for it to come up on its own).

Regarding Windows 8/8.1, I nearly formatted the hard drive when it came in due to Windows 8 (only stopped due to a BIOS security feature that wouldn't allow direct formatting) I decided to give it another chance. Eventually (after a few cursing and shouting episodes) I have become used to it (just switch over to the desk top mode as soon as it boots up- occasionally going to metro to find an application- desk top view is nearly the same as Windows 7). Windows 8.1 has made things slightly easier and better, however, expect a bit of googling / youtubing to work out how to do things, such as shut the machine down, how to close a metro application (hint: Alt+F4 to shut down apps, and if in Desktop view, Alt+F4 can be used to shut down, or move mouse to the right edge of screen eventually a side bar opens, select settings > power> shut down).
The screen is bright and big, Full HD, and BlueRay (included in mine) is brilliant (to watch movies I connect it to LCD TV via HDMI cable, purchased separately). The best thing is it runs quietly and is cool to run (i.e. the temperature remains low, it does not heat up). The speakers are a bit on the weaker side, but I use GameCom headphones or connect it up to the TV.

All in all, good machine for heavy duty memory intensive work.
