Thoroughly researched, 15 Sept. 2013
This is an exhaustively researched book written in quite a technical style. The account of the thought processes of the pre-war RAF senior officers in charge of aircraft selection makes fascinating reading. We nearly didn't have the Mosquito. I hadn't realised just how much of the aircraft was made of wood. A brief explanation of the more complex processes involved in its construction would have helped me.
I'm glad I bought the book but it is a shame there aren't some colour photos - if these exist.
