5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Case, 25 April 2015
I was slightly apprehensive about spending this amount of money on not only 'just a case' but also the first case made by this company. I spent ages looking at 'silent' cases, Fractal Design looked good with great reviews but were way too deep, I also wanted more OD Bays and their XL version is a silly price. Cooler Master made some impressive attempts but on further research seemed to fail on cable room, dust filtering & heat. So in the end I took a chance on Be Quiet!

I have to say I'm glad I did. It looks superb, much better than in the pictures It's very roomy inside making install a pleasure, it's pure class throughout, every aspect of it's design is really considerate. The ability to swap or completely remove the drive cages is excellent. The fans are really quiet (you'd never think there were 3 of them) and everything just oozes quality, right down to the nuts & bolts!

Airflow is superb and the internal temps are very cool.

I would advise you to shop around as Amazon may not be the cheapest.

It's all been covered in the other reviews so all I will add is that if anyone out there is feeling slightly hesitant about making this purchase, don't be. It's an excellent buy, it's very substantial, it'll last for years, has a great design and is very very quiet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Cooler, 25 April 2015
Absolutely awesome bit of kit. Easy to fit, excellent build quality and incredibly fact I had to double check that it was actually working as it was so quiet.

Everything about this cooler screams quality and I would have expected to have paid double the price for something of this calibre. It's very big (so check that your case has enough headroom) and the finish is superb. At this price it blows the competition out of the water!

The only thing I changed was that I removed the pre-applied thermal past and applied my own but for the first time builder pre-applied tp is probably a good idea. Installation was a dream and my temperatures are really low even at load.

This has to be the best CPU cooler in this price bracket and easily out performs many more expensive brands.
Check out Youtube & Google for more reviews and info.

This is one time you can believe the hype!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Quiet! Very Solid Performance But Cables Could Be Better, 25 April 2015
Solidly built and very very quiet! I used this with a Be Quiet case (awesome!) but as it was bottom mounted I did find cable management not as good as it could be.

The case is large, the cables have enough lengh but the drive cables all end up being upside down so when connecting od's, ssd & hdd's it can all get a little messy. I also thought more sata connectors rather than molex would be good. At this price you'd expect the cables to be thought out a little better, especially as bottom mounting a psu is now the in thing.

Be Quiet do sell a range of extra cables, which look much neater and are obviously made to do the job properly, I just think these optional cables are the ones that should be included with this product.

Performance and build are top notch and it really is quiet, odd that the Germans would let it down with thoughtless cable management..

Loses one star becasue of the above.

1.0 out of 5 stars Be Warned These Aren't New, 7 April 2015
Be careful everyone and read the info on the bag it comes in. Mine said 'recertified' so is in fact not new but a 'refurbished' drive, returned to the manufacturer as faulty then repaired!

My advice purchase this drive elsewhere!

You can check you're warranty here, just enter your serial number mine only had 5 months warranty left...that's outrageous!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap, Lightweight, Efficient & Still Better Than Most, 30 Mar. 2015
This is the 900w version the Hepa version has a 1200w motor (like the Alto Saltix 10). It's really light, quiet and does a great job of vacuuming. If you want to make it even better swap the brush head for the Nilfisk deluxe head (the one that comes with the GM80c) then you have better contact, maneuverability and improved suction.
The reason this only gets 4 stars is that it has a fix cord and I would've preferred the detachable cord that comes with the Hepa version.

For the price though it beats 90% of other vacuums hands down and it will last 10 times longer. These are designed for commercial use so in a domestic environment should last a lifetime.
Look to the Hepa version for even better suction & detachable cord or if you want a machine that will last forever and cannot be beaten look to the Nilfisk GM80c...probably the best vacuum in the world!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Vacuum Ever!!, 25 Mar. 2015
I am a complete tidy freak. I like to do the job quickly and efficiently. Over the years I have been through all the so called 'top' brands of vacuum cleaners. They all fail to live up to their claims or have a short lifespan. Then by chance I stumbled upon this machine and it has completely changed my life with regard vacuuming. The manufacturers are so confident in it's design (which hasn't changed since the 1950's by the way) that they give a 5 year warrany. You will never need it. It's built like a tank, it's light, it maneuvers with ease, it comes with a 11m lengh cable (enough for most people to plug in one socket and reach their whole property) the suction is beyond compare, even when the bag is full it will still lift the carpet as you glide over it.

I've had mine 10 years and it's been dropped, bashed and generally booted about and it refuses to stop! I have thrown everything at it and it's handles everything with ease.
It has an incredible 'retro' look because it is, Nilfisk hasn't changed the design for years...because it's the best. Also every part on this machine is replaceable in moments...if the motor eventually goes bang! simply unclip it and pop in a new one.

Don't be fooled by the 1100w power compared to some manufacturers that offer 2000w or even 3000w of power, it's not about motor power it's all about how much suction comes out the end of the nozzle...this beauty will swollow a nearby pet without even blinking.

The secret to it's power is the massive filter, it's huge almost the same size as the whole machine. Have yourself a massive wattage motor with a small filter and suction will soon be reduced. That guy that sells you that famous plastic see-through cyclonic vacuum and tells you they never lose suction is telling porkies. If you look at your nearest Henry or similar french company shaped vacuum, where do you think they stole their deas guessed it...this puppy...but compared to this Nilfisk, they are mere toys.

I was a little apprehensive a first at £275 (shop around!) it's a costly machine but you soon realise it's a wise investment.
I spoke to several vacuum repair centres before I purchased, they ALL said that this was probably the best machine ever made. True there's no retractable cable, you have to wrapped it up (and unlike the other reviewer it doesn't get tangled if you learn the knack) but apparently this retracable mechanism found on modern vacuums is one of the first things to go wrong. I have to say again 'every part of this machine is replaceable by the end user' and support from Nilfisk is top class.
I then discovered that Nilfisk are used in schools, hospitals, offices & factories the world over and that the domestic GM80c is just a cosmetic variant of the commercially used GM80. If it's cleaning power is trusted for the toughest environments then ' in the home use' must be like a walk in the park.
The finally deal breaker for me was all the Youtube vids and online reviews...this thing has a massive cult following (what other vacuum has a following?!) and there's loads of people demo'ing what this thing can's amazing!

The one thing that held me back briefly was that it uses bags, you can use it bagless but that would require frequent filter cleaning and there's more mess when emptying. However the bags are huge. I only replace mine once every 6 months! ( and that's used everyday as well as extra jobs like cleaning the car ect) If you buy the microfibre bag (£3 for five on a well known auction site) instead of the paper ones you can empty and re-use.

Yep I've gone on a bit but with the ever increasing amount of products released designed to be disgarded just after the 12 month warranty period (planned obsolescence) and the consumer being led to believe that this is normal...I feel it's my duty to point out that it's not and that this vacuum could quite easily last you a lifetime.

It's so wonderfully designed too with a simplistic timeless beauty that some how reminds me of a friendly Dalek or R2-D2 character that' quickly became part of the family.

By the way, this is a real 'man' machine, I refuse to let my wife use it (unless she's been good). I enjoy using it so much that I actually look forward to vacuuming. It's no longer a tiresome chore but a pleasurable task that's completed in half the time of any lesser machine!

Buy it you will not regret it

For their current price these are excellent. Does everything I want and more. If I have one gripe it would be that the camera isn't quite up to the mark.
Get a screen protector and case on it as soon as you take it out of the box and it'll last ages...definitaly miss the next upgrade or two before I change. Screen is surprisingly big for a smaller phone and crystal clear.

For the price you can't expect professional studio quality but if you take your time, eq well, watch your levels, think about your mix then this little device can deliver a sound that's not far off top end gear. Just remember this is for the entry lrvrl home user to give them a door into digital recording...if you don't expect the Earth then you'll be pleasantly surprised. A device aimed at youth & novice and for that it does extremely well
