4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent device, 30 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I use this to hold my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as a sat nav and music player. It was absolutely fine for the purpose and can be expanded to hold even bigger devices. Stuck to the screen well and is very flexible in its orientation capability.

My oly slight reservation is that the clips at the side don't seem to be deep enough to lip over the edge of the phone properly, so it never seemed absolutely secured. Despite this, I had no issues at all with it driving nearly 3,000 miles through Europe.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not enough detail, confusing layout, 30 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I'm a recent convert to what Spain has to offer, so was hoping that this would be a helpful guide. It was to some extent, but as is often the case with general guides like this, it didn't really provide enough detail. The town maps were too small-scale also.

I also found the layout somewhat confusing - it was a bit hard to find stuff in the book. It might be a better idea to go for one of the more detailed guided of the various areas of Spain, because there is so much to see.

4.0 out of 5 stars Effective enough, but a rather odd design, 2 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
From my limited experience so far, this rig seems to work well. You get two massive batteries, which appear to hold their charge well and last for AGES inside my Note 2. However, my experience with Anker batteries has been that they start to lose their capacity after a few months, so I'm not holding my breath. Having two of them is a bonus.

The really odd part of this comes with the charger. You have to lift two American-style prongs and plug them into a travel adaptor. So far, so understandable. However, the travel adaptor seems to be a completely separate item that's been added as an afterthought. When fitted - which isn't easy - it's a different colour and it's totally asymmetrical, so that the edge of the travel adaptor sticks out beyond the edge of the charger. It looks really weird. However, it seems to work fine.

There's a USB port on the side of the charger so that you can charge up the phone at the same time as charging a battery. The battery also sticks out of the side of the charger, so again it all looks peculiar. Can't quibble about the price, though - you get two huge capacity batteries and a charger for £18. Good value, even if the design is - interesting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice design, but the blades wear out quickly, 12 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Easy to put together and effective in use - it's also nice and light. However, you seem to have to replace the blades quite frequently. No hardship, and they're not expensive, but I might have expected a better design from Bosch. Can recommend it for light work - our garden is small.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mind-blowingly good, 4 Jun. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The original by Led Zeppelin is, of course, a classic (Sandy Denny singing the female vocals). That is brilliant enough. I heard this on Planet Rock in the "Amps Off" programme, where they play acoustic versions of rock songs, and this absolutely blew me away. I've always rated the Wilson sisters as rock artistes, and this showcases their talents beautifully. Rich production, fabulous atmosphere, and stunningly close to the original. Oh, and it's live. Fantastic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very high quality product, 9 April 2013

Despite the fact that this mat appears to be fairly thin, it is very comfortable, holds the floor well without moving around, and is relatively easy to transport as it is not particularly heavy. It's very well made and should last for years.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great for phone charging, not so good for the spare battery, 9 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This device charges my Samsung Galaxy S2 quickly and easily - it's recognised as a media device as soon as you plug it in. However, the spare battery slot is very hit and miss - you have to fiddle with its position on the bed to get it to charge, and I'm never really confident whether the battery is properly charged as a result. There are probably better ones out there. The idea is good, but the quality is not brilliant.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good piece of kit, 9 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This makes excellent coffee, although, as with all these machines at the cheaper end of the spectrum, it's a bit fiddly and the ground coffee can go everywhere! The steamer works really well - I was surprised by how easy that is to use. My only real beefs are the fact that you cannot get any decent sized cup underneath withiut taking off the drip dray, and to get a decent sized cup/mug of coffee, you've got to make two shots. If you're prepared to undergo a small amount of pain for a great coffee, then this machine is well worth considering.

Garmin Premium Soft Strap Heart Rate Monitor

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice product, but quite hard to adjust, 4 Feb. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is certainly more comfortable than a more standard heart rate strap - the two electodes are clearly visible and a close fit to the chest is assured. The signal is strong and appears to be accurate. My only beef with it is the strap fittings themselves. It's quite hard to adjust the length of the strap so that it fits comfortably, and you put the strap on by a very non-technical positioning of a loop over a hook. It works fine - I'm just rather puzzled that a premium bit of kit like this isn't easier to adjust. It's also a bit pricey, but it is certainly effective.
