5.0 out of 5 stars Good old Charlie, 8 Dec. 2013
This review is from: A Christmas Carol (Kindle Edition)
A lesson to all the Miser's out there.
One of the best Christmas classics that you will never tire from reading, especially at the magical Yuletide time of year.
Dickens at his very best.
Now, "be off with you" and enjoy the read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Long Live the King, 2 Dec. 2010
This review is from: King Creole (Audio CD)
An absolute stunning album from start to finish. Probably one of Elvis' best albums and a superb film. I own this on the original vinyl and I now own it on CD and a brilliant job has been done in the transformation.
I would suggest that you buy the film first and then without further persuassion you will then buy the CD.
A great addition to any music/film collection.

Saw this back in the 80's and can remember a good story line with great explosive action. I would love it to be released on dvd in the uk.

5.0 out of 5 stars Master of twists and turns, 30 Mar. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The greatest suspense director of our time does it again with a superb collection of stories with a twist in the tale. I would best describe it as the thinking mans twilight zone (although another great show).
If for some reason you have never come across AH Presents it would be a very wise choice to purchase a copy as you will be pleasantly surprised as each episode unfolds with twist and turns that only Hitchcock could dream of.

5.0 out of 5 stars King of New York, 30 Mar. 2009
The seasons get better as the show goes on.
I first started watching this on channel 4 a few years ago , but for some reason or another hasn't been repeated since. This is probably the best sitcom to come from across the pond in a very long time. It has a feel good vibe to it and all the characters are just superb and I think that we can all relate to certain aspects of this wonderfully written and acted show.
This is a must buy and a great asset to anyones DVD collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars the cream of rare groove funk, 6 Mar. 2007
Not only are the Delfonics one of the supreme bands of the rare groove scene, they also know how to produce a track listing to wet the appetite of the most discerning palette.
Even the great man Tarantino himself included a fine Delfonics track ,namely "Did'nt I blow your mind" which went down very well and fitted into the film (JACKIE BROWN )extremely well, it was almost as like the film was made for the track.
Needless to say anything by the Delfonics is a must in any CD collection.
No collection is complete without them.
All the best
Steve The Rare Groove Connection.
