Kensington Anchor Point
Kensington Anchor Point

4.0 out of 5 stars Lap top anchor, 20 Dec. 2010
The anchor does the job. Combined with the usual cable attachment it protects against the opportunist thief. Somebody with a crowbar or wire cutter will get your lap top.

The lock is ideal to prevent opertunist thieves. Once installed quick to apply or diconnect as long as you remember where you put the key.

3.0 out of 5 stars A chunky field guide, 10 Nov. 2009
While it is an excellent book, it is a field guide that will tend to be left in the Hotel for reference when you return, it is just too chunky to carry with your bird guide etc etc.
The pictures are clear as are the maps. Could it have bean issued in two volumes, part 1 maps, pictures and discription, Jaws and other detailes in part 2?
But it is still an excellent book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fits the bill !, 10 Nov. 2009
The art work is good, and the book fits the pocket and appears well bound.
The shear number of bird species and the need for portability - it is a field guide - means there is no room for maps. To copensate it does give height range, habitat and zone in the text.
