5.0 out of 5 stars Like all Dr. Elder books this is excellent, 17 April 2013

I'm a big fan of Elder's books, having read both 'Trading for a Living' and 'Come into my Trading Room', its not required reading to have read either of those to read this book, If you've read any Elder book or watched his DVD's you will know he is a big fan of trading divergence patterns, and this books gives an overview of what divergence is, and then goes onto to go into more detail how to successfully trade it.

I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in trading divergence patterns.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book will take you from economics noobie to a pro..., 22 July 2010
This book by Peter Schiff, and his brother, is funny, witty and educating, I had a failry broad understanding of economic principle before reading this book, but bought it anyway hoping to learn something from it, and after having read another of Peter Schiffs books (Crash Proof) thought it was well worth a read. The book great way to learn, and understand why trade deficits, debt and asset bubbles are all destructive to the economy, and is a good insight into the Austrian economics theory.

After reading the book, you will have a well rounded understanding of and economics, and how the government can affect and distort economic growth, it's pretty much the only book you'll need to gain such an insight.

This books simple approach and funny stories makes it appealing to any reader, I've given the book to my mother, and wife to read, and when my son is a few years older this will make a nice bed time tale!
