Kettler Cross Trainer, 5 Jan 2012
I refer to the Kettler Viteo P Cross Trainer. One review stated "good German engineering". However, that's as far as it goes for this model. If you want a cross trainer that's assembled in Germany, expect to pay in excess of £800.00.
On seeking advice on various models from Kettler between the Rivo P, Viteo P and the Cross P. I was informed that the integrals was all the same, in regard to the workings, irrespective of the price differential. However, it is a different ball game for the unit assembled in Germany with topnotch components.
The three cross trainers mentioned above are made and assembled in Taiwan and are of an inferior quality than their German counterpart. This is not to say they are of poor quality but meet a price. These machines according to the manufacturers are suitable for light usage, of 20 minute duration, three to four times a week. One adviser from a fitness outlet literally classed the aforementioned as junk.
