3.0 out of 5 stars Plugging The Gap Reprise, 2 Jun. 2007
in 1989 i was lucky enough to be living in Charlottesville VA and met a young Dave Matthews pouring beers at Millers in Downtown C'Ville. That is really where this DVD starts. Not a lot new that has not been said before, but it does offer an insight into the beginings of the band. However this is an 'unofficial' DVD so no DMB music at all is on this. 3 stars from me as it brought back a lot of good memories of watching the band develop, and work the local VA and DC music scene.

However be warned!!!! this DVD I think is exactly the same as 'Plugging the Gap' I could be wrong but check first.

Moon the Loon: The Amazing Rock and Roll Life of Keith Moon
Moon the Loon: The Amazing Rock and Roll Life of Keith Moon
by Dougal Butler

5.0 out of 5 stars So Long Ago, 2 Jun. 2007
Dougal Butler is a really nice geezer. Shame I have not seen him since this book went into publication. I worked on it as a designer at Star Books 26 or so years ago and this seems to be a good opportunity to apologise to all Moonies fans out there about the awful jacket design. I wanted to commision Ralph Steadman to do the jacket illustration but my art director was not having it and the end result was down to sales and marketing department. Apart from the brilliant Tony Fletcher book, this is a gem. I was lucky enough to read the original manuscript before the lawyers and editors got their hands on it. A lot had to be taken out I recall due to the possibility of liable actions etc. if only i had kept a hold of that manuscript.

If you are a Moon fan or a drummer (Yes I am one) this should be in your collection.
