The Private Patient - over the top, 5 Oct 2009
I can't be the only one getting bored of the endless, rather ridiculous and over the top descriptions of the thoughts and sensitivities of the main protagonists in any recently published novel by PD James.
The Private Patient is no exception - AD and co have been ascribed the most super human powers of sensitivity in what is in the end a fairly pedestrian crime novel. And why does anyone questioned by the aforesaid super 3 react negatively or ask stupid questions?
