5.0 out of 5 stars Roy says it's GRRRRREAT!, 12 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Royal Canin Siamese 4kg (Misc.)
Roy, who is Siamese and therefore is entitled to have an opinion on this stuff, loves it. It suits his somewhat vainglorious fangs! And his coat is nice and shiny (Roy is also quite vain, too).

Really enjoyable and a typically self-effacing effort; the songs speak for themselves and his passion glows through the performances. Nice one, Dai.

A great product - simple and effective and it smells good, like the other Bulldog products. I use their deodorant and moisturiser too.

A wonderful collection of beautiful Welsh songs and melodies by two superb artists. This is a great introduction to Welsh traditional and classical music. I listen to it frequently with great pleasure.

4.0 out of 5 stars An everyday classic with pedigree., 28 April 2013

Still lovely and warm - intriguing and reassuring. Very good value and their skin balm is excellent too. Goes down well with ladies too; it's rather pleasing to get your earlobes approvingly sniffed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy Carbone de Balmain - I want to keep it a secret!, 28 April 2013

Rich, dark, rumbling, long-lasting, addictive. Not quite a classic but close. It's such a shame that, the once classic, Monsieur Balmain is now only a shadow of what it used to be. Still Carbone shows that Balmain can still deliver the goods when they try.

5.0 out of 5 stars EDMUNDS ALBUM MIX TO TREASURE, 28 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have been really disappointed by the murkiness of the sound quality of most of the other Dave Edmunds compilations, I love this one. Sit back, grab a large (Penderyn) whiskey and play "Born To Be You" loud! It's almost as close to heaven that an aging rocker can get.......

5.0 out of 5 stars REALLY EXCELLENT - DOES EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT IT TO DO, 28 April 2013

This was recommended by a singer/performer/teacher after we had used some of the exercises in class. It is concentrated and enjoyable both as a comprehensive warm-up and an effective workout to improve musically, stylistically and in diction.

4.0 out of 5 stars An overlooked gem; sheer joy with quality you can taste., 21 Aug 2010
This review is from: That's The Key (Audio CD)
A truly wonderful album from the eclectic David Blosse. Here he explores elements of world music; Scottish, African, and French influences mingle with his usual virtuoso roots rock approach. On this recording he is backed by a superb group of players and Neil Kavanagh's production neither overwhelms nor undersells the individual tracks. This is a little different to his usual material and contrasts dynamically with "Fall From Grace", his equally excellent 2002 collection available on Tonezone Records. Copies may still be available at live performances.
