I remember seeing Freddie doing this classic sketch at Blackpool 1960 on the Tommy Steel show,it was played exactly as you see it on youtube absoloutely magical.

a wonderful little book that needed to be written,it should be distributed in schools,to protect this beautiful dialect,because sooner or later the p.c crowd will get their claws in,and that'll be it(i hope not).

A wonderful book for all lovers of Sheffield culture,it makes me feel quite ashamed, that i don't speak the dialect anymore,living in Ireland,they couldnt understand a word of what i was saying when i first came over,long may it last.
