1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish, 18 Nov 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this for a large duvet, which was what it was advertised for amongst other things, and it ripped the first time I attempted to put a large duvet in it.
It is an absolute rubbish product and would advise strongly against anyone purchasing it!

I have given it one star but only because it wouldn't let me give no stars

4.0 out of 5 stars Assembling it, 10 Oct 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I do not give up on things easily but there was no way I could assemble this myself.
It took 2 men to do it for me so in that way I was disappointed.
It says to press the mode button to lock on the feature you want but I press but it won't lock on to the feature I want!

5.0 out of 5 stars Genius, 7 Aug 2007
Really, if you want brilliant, surreal, euphoric comedy you have this movie or "Pootytang" in the last, dunno, ten....twenty years?

This movie is so chock full of jokes....jokes jokes jokes....that it feels limitless. I love knowing that the film makers loved making the movie and did it with balls, confidence but no arrogance. But I love even more knowing those things just by watching the movie. Joy and adventure drips from every scene, every cast member right down to the "Smells like a turd wrapped in burt hair." person.

4.0 out of 5 stars Their best yet, 7 Aug 2007

Feels further confirms that not only does Animal Collective make music different from anything else that's out there - these folks are also quite good at it. If listening to each Animal Collective release is a little bit like having the Collective guide you through a primal forest, Here Comes the Indian is like venturing deep into the Heart of Darkness, and Sung Tongs let a little bit of light shine through the trees. Listening to Feels, then, is like settling down in a sunny clearing; all the soothing sounds of the forest still reach your ears, but this time, Animal Collective won't get lost along the way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Album of the year?, 7 Aug 2007
This review is from: Tromatic Reflexxions (Audio CD)
I've been a mouse on mars listener for 10 years now, and it's always a surprise for me listening to a new record by them, but this is really something. I'm so happy of having this album, i am a more happy person since this came out, it's organized chaos, the ghost in the machine, eclectic calculated sounds vs rants and fun fun fun, believe ive listened ALL of the good 07 albums, lcd soundsystem, year zero, amon tobin, battles, arcade fire etc...and this is the best so far...

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievably, better than the first!, 7 Aug 2007
This review is from: Proof Of Youth (Audio CD)
While The Go! Team released their debut album, Thunder Lightning Strike on tiny indie Memphis Industries back in 2004 it wasn't until the single Ladyflash was everwhere in 2005/6 that i finally took the opportunity to check them out, and boy was i glad i did. This was the band of my dreams, mixing old school electro, cheerleading chants, Sonic Youth discordance, C86 cutie and tv cop show soundtracks, it was the kind of record you actually listened to whilst you danced.

Baring in mind how much i loved the record, it was still a huge suprise when i finally saw them live, this was the album to the power of ten, the guitars were ear shredding, the beats in yer face (two drummers!)and it was all topped off with front-woman Ninja who's old-skool call and response was so out of place at an 'indie' gig it couldn't help make you grin from ear to ear. Leaving the gig i couldn't help but imagine how great the next album could sound.

And here it is, and i have to say it's surpassed my wildest expectations. First single, 'Grip Like A Vice' is the most punk rock 'comeback' single i've heard for ages, 'Doing it Right' is already a live favourite and they've nailed it here, Fake ID reminds me of The Pastels, but The Pastels never sounded this melodic or urgent. The Wrath Of Marcie is the most joyful track The Go! Team have done yet while Keys To City is the best track they've done period (can't wait to hear this one live...)

With Proof Of Youth, The Go! Team have walked back into the stadium and knocked the ball clean out of the ground, god i love this band.

5.0 out of 5 stars Album Of The Year (and it's still only January....), 10 Jan 2007
This review is from: Tones Of Town (Audio CD)
Tones Of Town has been in my cd player for the last 3 months (i was lucky enough to get a promo copy) and i can see it staying there for the rest of the year. Whilst their eponymous debut at times came across as little 'cool', Tones Of Town sees the Brewis brothers (and keyboard maestro Andrew Moore) upping the ante and challenging themselves to write and produce a record that is warm enough to invite on the first listen but deep enough to reward time and time again. For those who like their music to challenge you've come to the right place - just when you've got a handle on a song it takes a seious u-turn into the unexpected. that's not to say that Tones Of Town doesn't have pop songs, it's just that the likes of 'A House Is Not A Home' and 'She Can Do What She Wants' are the kind of pop songs that XTC, Madness or Scritti Politti used to write, i.e intelligant and inventive.

It's unlikely there will be a better British record made this year. Go buy....
