1.0 out of 5 stars It's not black., 23 April 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This watch is described as black, and the photo shows that the strap and face are jet black. However, the one I have is more of a dark brown. Given that I purchased this watch based on how it looks, I am somewhat disappointed. I had planned to buy the blue, white and gold versions to go with this red one - but now I won't. I hope to upload a photo or two for you to see for what I mean (the card in my picture is black). I've seen more accurate pictures on this watch on the Internet.

If you want a brown watch, then this is a fine watch. If you want a black watch, then you'll be disappointed.

Shipped from Germany, but still quick delivery.

Very easy to fit without getting any bubbles using the supplied cleaning cloth and squeegee. A prefect fit, cut outs for the speaker, camera and proximity sensor.

This type of matt cover does dull the screen a bit, but it is much less reflective and doesn't show finger marks.

3.0 out of 5 stars Check support!, 3 Jun. 2012

Works fine with my Samsung Galaxy S, but it will not charge my Galaxy Tablet. The manual says that it does not support the USB dumb charger specification, and devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tablet and Nokia N900 are not supported. The seller has gone to great lengths to list lots of devices it'll support in the title of this product, but no mention anywhere of this limitation. So, check the charging spec of your device before buying.

Quite expensive, but does seem to be good quality. My only gripe is that it doesn't have a cut out for the front facing camera.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works perfectly, 19 Feb. 2011

Got this to play with my 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX, and Torque Android application on my Galaxy S.

The unit itself is supplied in a plastic bag with a mini-CD. I plugged it in to the OBD2 port on my car and connected via Bluetooth to my phone. From what I can tell it all works perfectly, there were no problems getting it going. All of the readings I tried worked fine - revs, speed, boost, throttle position, fault codes. I haven't looked at the contents of the CD as my main use will be via my phone.

Supplied in a plastic bag, this cable is about 98cm long from tip-to-tip. Works perfectly well. There is no Samsung branding anywhere on the cable or packaging, even through the description says it is Samsung branded, and the branding is shown in the product image.

This is a Samsung APCBU10BBE USB to micro-USB data cable for use with the Galaxy S (and others probably). The picture shows it in a nice box, my one came in a plastic bag. It seems perfectly fine, has the Samsung id label. The cable itself is about 83cm long from connector tip to connector tip - so it is a little short. But as far as I can tell it works perfectly fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars It does everything, 28 Nov. 2009

So far I'm impressed with this box. The Freesat+ (series link) function works well, if you select a program from the guide that is also available in HD it asks if you want to record the HD version. You can record two channels while watching a disc. You can copy from the internal hard drive to blu-ray or DVD with ease. If you're copying to blu-ray it is very fast. There is also the ability to record at a lower quality, i.e. re-encode the video. This is done in "real-time" so it takes a while. There do seem to be, what I think, are omissions. There doesn't seem to be the option to copy video from the hard drive to a USB stick or SD card.

Setting the unit up was very easy and quick.

Video quality seems excellent, though I've only used the HDMI connection, so can't comment on the other outputs (SACRT, component and S-Video).

Start-up of blu-ray discs isn't that fast, but I'd say it's on a par with other blu-ray players I've seen. What is slow, is the length of time it takes to power on, and response to the remote is a little slugish.

The only down sides to this unit are the slightly confusing array of recording modes (they are: DR, HG, HX, HE, HL, XP, SP, LP, EP, FR) and the disc types supported for recording (they are: BD-RE, BD-R, BD-RE DL, BD-R DL, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+R DL, DVD+RW) and the combinations of allowed recording modes and disc types.

It is worth mentioning that the HD transmissions from ITV and BBC are copy protected. Depending on what has been encoded, it may be possible to only copy a recording from HD to disc once, or not at all in HD quality. Copies in SD seem to not be limited.

This is quite an expensive unit, but considering how many other boxes to does away with, I think it's worth it.

If you have Nikon Close-Up Speedlight Commander Kit R1C1 and Nikon 60Mm F2.8D Af Micro Nikkor Lens then you really do need one of these. Though the macro flash kit does come with lots of mounting rings, there isn't one for the 60mm Macro lens (not for the non-SWM version anyway). This adapter clamps on to the front of the lens allowing the macro flash ring to be attached. I've used this loads of times now and never had any issues with it slipping or coming free. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I didn't give it top marks because it is rather expensive for what it is.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good, 27 Nov. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
So far I've burnt two discs, both with no problems. The first was from my PC using the LG BE06LU10 External Blu-Ray BD-RW / HD DVD-ROM retail kit; the second was with the Panasonic DMR-BS750EB. Both seem to work just fine. I have also printed on one of them using an Epson R2880 - again this worked fine. I have no idea how long they will last, but at the moment everything is fine.
*Update January 2012* - I have now burnt over 30 of these discs and have encountered no problems at all. The oldest disc is now just over 1 year old, and can be read without any issues.
